Thought it was Sir Tottenham of Hotspur’s article?
Newcastle parked the bus ...played 5-5-0 most of the time.
That said, we had 77% possession and lost. Their goal, against the run of play, was due to very poor positioning by KWP who was yards from the man he should have been marking, followed by an unbelievable positional blunder by Sanchez.
Dunno why Vertonghen was left on the bench...he would never have made that mistake.
KWP and Winks are not yet good enough.
That said both Moura and Kane missed scoring opportunities.
If Kane wants to improve when faced with a team that defends well then he should study the movement of Ageuro in the box. (400 career goals don't lie)
