Losing arguably your best player will hurt.
I don't think Poch should be blamed for not playing him given the circumstances. Eriksen wants to go and he wants to play players committed to the club.
The painful thing is that your summer purchases have been done and you don't have a player who can play that role to anywhere near the same standard.

Agree with this. As much as people are on Poch's back at the moment, if we end up selling Eriksen, then our summer transfer window has looked like a missed opportunity to strengthen, and blame therefore has to be shared with Levy. Poch must have wanted Dybala or someone else to add that strength in depth needed to replace a potentially leaving Eriksen, and we didn't get them so we'll be left short. Add to that the time taken to sign Lo Celso meaning it will take longer for him to settle in, just as Poch says.
It clearly says he doesnt know if he will play for us again you stupid twaaat
Can't see him being sold now with no concrete offers on the table. Will probs join real for a free next tear though

It clearly says, "Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says he "doesn't know" if Christian Eriksen has played his last game for the club..."
And then again it also *clearly* says,
"When you lose, the players who don't play are the best," added Pochettino. "With Christian we win and we lose a lot of games. I accept that the situation is like this. If we won 3-0 today no-one talks about different names.
"I cannot find excuses about the transfer window being open to justify that performance or the result. We cannot find the way to be solid and to have consistency for different reasons"
So...
Absolute facking mess at the moment. Absolute mess
First of all, Pochettino did not say Ericksen won't play for Spurs again.
He said "he did not know if Eriksen would play again".
FGS there's a big difference.
The decision is not Pochettino's its Eriksen's.
As other have said here, the market Eriksen seems interested in has dried up. except for rumors about Juve - but he's never said he's interested in playing in Italy.
I'll bet Eriksen plays out his last season here and leaves on a free transfer.
And based on all three of our recent performances ..... we need him.
And also Dybala (for the 100th time!!).

Something is wrong in the front office.
This team is not performing to its potential.
And team selection is hard to understand.....

It`s gone mate, complete and utter shambles and Poch has to take a big share of the blame. He is getting away with murder from our fans. He should be coming under enormous pressure, but still our fans are fawning over him like a little puppy dog.
