There needs to be demonstrations on our streets, the scale of Hong Kong by this weekend.
Even if you say Johnson is following that policy - and I see far more evidence that Corbyn is the one that follows that path - it's hardly exclusive to facists is it? It's like saying Hitler liked onions so everyone who likes onions is a Facist. (Disclaimer: I have no actual information over Hitler's like or otherwise of onions.)
Anyway, it seems to me that Johnson is trying to force through what people voted for and parliament agreed to. And as I say, it seems to me that this policy makes it more likely that a vote of confidence goes against him rather than less.
As for the changing of a PM, there has never been anything in my lifetime that says a general election has to be called as soon as a leader is changed. But whether or not you believe the system should be changed, you cited that as a clear indication of facism; are you really calling Gordon Brown a facist as well?

Sandy, it's not even close. He's elected because his party was elected by millions - and has gone up in the polls since he took leadership of it. He's suspending parliament as a game to stop the majority of parliament going back on what they already agreed to. (I'm not saying he should be doing it but that's what it is.) The things he's on record as saying and doing may be incompetent but they are nowhere near facism.
And the closest thing we've had to a facist state for years has been what IS/Daesh tried to create.

Winston - I'd say Trump legitimises it and should be rightly condemned for that. But he'll still get another term because the opposition over there is just terrible and will never get the votes of midwest America while they keep on trying to out-socialist each other.

Sandy, it's not even close. He's elected because his party was elected by millions - and has gone up in the polls since he took leadership of it. He's suspending parliament as a game to stop the majority of parliament going back on what they already agreed to. (I'm not saying he should be doing it but that's what it is.) The things he's on record as saying and doing may be incompetent but they are nowhere near facism.
And the closest thing we've had to a facist state for years has been what IS/Daesh tried to create.

No, I don't think Boris will do what Hitler did and the sheer openness of society these days means such things as concentration camps will, hopefully, never happen again.
But that doesn't mean there won't be a serious situation in years to come.

That simply isn't true.
Many people are detained - including children on their own or with someone other than their parents, and people seeking asylum.
