The Ed’s on the Liverpool rumours site have been talking about the problems created for clubs by young players having unrealistic expectations of stepping straight into the first team. I’m sure the agents have a huge part to play here and they profit every time the player moves on.
It’s going to take an incredible effort for Duncan, Brewster or indeed any of the youth team to get a look in. But TAA and Gomez have proved it can be done.
The others will have to drop down and work their way up through smaller teams. I suspect Duncan will be one of them.
he did great last year with glatzel. absolutle y smashing for u18 level.
you've got to push yourself positively not just demand massive wage and conditions and especially not assurances of game time.off the European champions.
They only have to look at players like jerome sinclair wheres he now?
Same agent as Berahino says it all
He’s been exposed tonight in a big way. He’s ruining Bobbys career and just finished his own by using mental health as an excuse for his dreadful actions

Sounds like he should @ one of the Milan clubs that question.
His agent got ripped a new one on twitter and has now deactivated his account
A girl he has been sending voicemails to published them and exposed him. The fans have exposed his homophobia and his liking for young girls
Guys career is over. You’d think people would think before they take on Liverpool football club. Look what happened to H&G. We ruined them as well
it's ridiculous how idiotic this guy is.
same account used and only took a quick look back to see all the goodies.
it.must be noted however someone advising or acting as guardian for Duncan allowed him to take up with this person.
I still think Duncan's career is now all but over.
Normally, if I can use that word, we as fans get such info second-hand. In this instance however, the agent went live, we've got it from the horses mouth.
It certainly trains the spotlight on agents themselves, something I feel should be done. I think I'm right in saying that our club has spent millions, more than any other PL club on agents, who have at best a sordid reputation. No matter how big strong and handsome the look, the general impression of them is as negative as it gets, namely lining their own pockets being the No.1objective.
I'm not saying that's the position here, but the agent's behaviour is reminiscent of Sky what's-is-name when Raheem wanted out.
The general consensus, unfairly in my view, is that players are as thick as short planks who could be ripped off by clubs if they weren't so represented.
But look no further than Dennis Irwin the ex-ManU player. I think I remember SAF no less saying that Dennis didn't, never had an agent, he did his own negotiating. And he didn't do too badly.
The time has come for players to educate themselves and stand up for themselves. A good start would be a 'don't put out anything in my name without my signed agreement ' clause in the contract with their agent might be a good start

Really good point about Irwin. He must have done ok with his money as well as you don't see him trying to be a pundit or coach
About irwin.... he was from a time when you might have had a boot deal and that was it.
These days you'd be a fool not to have representation to manage the huge amount of money you can harvest.
But lets not confuse agents who are most interested in vast killings off transfers and representation managing image rights.
