Evening all, off to play Slipknots new album in the man cave! \M?
Afternoon. Convention says we should mention something about gaps? I think we’ll leave that game to the small town boys amongst the Rams. ππΌ

Will, you're embarrassing yourself. At least RFB has an excuse with learning difficulties and being a total tw@t
Mel can take a defeat but not a thrashing. I expect Cocu will have an uncomfortable meeting on Monday.

Uhm what happened.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Game of footy. We were thrashed, dissent in the ranks.....
Ahh I see.
Does it need to get worse before it gets better?
On paper this squad should be doing better than this though.
Team of strangers, no effort, no plan, no desire, no quality. It’s like they are waiting for Rooney to turn up and make it all better. Absolute shhite again today. Players looked like they were still resting.
Seems to be the same outcome every time Scouse attends a game ?
Opinion seems to be leaning towards poor formation
Cocu blames attitude for 1st half performance
"Waiting for Rooney to turn up"
There's the problem.
Had he arrived immediately, I'd have been excited. But making a major signing 4/5 months ahead of time was madness by Mel.
How would most of us feel knowing that the whole team dynamic will change in a few months when the circus arrives on town?

Cocu blames attitude for 1st half performance

Had Brentford been more clinical we could have lost the 2nd half by even more. The only reason it felt like an improvement is because they weren't. As it stands they were wasteful the entire match and still managed to score more past us, a better team could have had 10+
Cocu said his team will not play like that again. He said it came as a surprise. He expects sometimes the odd player might not be 100% but the whole team was at 70%. As Ang said he has questioned attitude, which is really worrying because attitude is a polite way of saying they couldn’t give a toss.
It would be more worrying if he said they all tried their best.
Worryingly He also indicated that they thought all they had to do was show up because Brentford have been crap up to today.
They just got sloppy and Brentford didn’t let them get away with it.
I assume there’ll be a bit of bottom kicking going on.
Apparently Roos Beilik and Keogh did ok.
I am usually highly optimistic but this is worrying - its not as if we are just waiting to "click" or the rub of the green going against us. Hard to see what else we have in the proverbial locker.......
