I'm a cautious and kranky ol bhugger.

Always maintained that we're a EL team.

This keeps up I would see us making a serious CL go next time out.

CL group stage is what we should be striving for, althiugh getting out of the EL group would qualify as a success for me too, we have enough quality to get into the CL, but to echo some on here, we never seem properly prepared when those games come around, and we also seem to be very unlucky with injuries at key times of the season, Cluj should have been swatted aside, they were no better than AIK.

Lenny's tactics in the last few games have impressed me though, I think he's starting to get a good balance.

I find it difficult to believe we could get him on a permanent, he's a top player in his prime, but a season in the shop window up here would be mutually beneficial for all parties.

I'm really hoping today will be the day that puts a stop to all this negativity, Lenny can lead us to 10 in a row, his appointment may have been viewed as a risk but it's done, time to get the feel good factor going and push on.

Not sure what length of contract he's on so that would have an impact, but Tottenham are kern to move him on so I think he'd cost £10-13m, but more importantly he'd be looking for £60-70k a week and there's no way we'd smash our wage structure like that, opens up a massive bag of worms with our other top players.

Huge win for Lenny, absolutely no doubt, and hopefully one we can kick on from. Let’s see what tomorrow brings transfer-wise.

Not sure about wanting big Vic back TBH. Loved the guy when he was with us, but by all accounts (Spurs fan comments) he’s a shadow of the player he was after bad injuries. Not sure we need an injury-prone guy on big wages who’s now way past his best. We have enough perma-crocks as it is.

when Rodgers left for not holding on to him.
