tbbab-I’m not concerned about you drinking again, I just don’t see why you need to keep mentioning about how you’ve been off it for so long and now back on it again. Up to you what you do, but we don’t need reminded about it every day.

As for being bigoted, or snidey, or whatever it was you called me, I don’t think I’ve said anything bigoted, and rather than being snidey I think I’m quite straight with people and direct.

Read it again-I can’t remember what your dig was. And I don’t care who drinks. I drink. Not often, but when i do, I don’t feel the need to constantly tell people.

I think it shows incredible restraint to stop something you’ve done a lot. Maybe try the same approach to telling us about how you’re drinking again.

IMHO:

Puyol's comment wasn't in context with the debate going on, I can only think he was, like many of us for years now, feeling a bit agitated with some of the comments pre OF game and reacted like that, maybe the 1st thing that came into his head, VERY unlike him and I think he regretted it?

Many Celtic supporters hackles rise at those comments and who can blame them, just football supporters?

Honestly hope this gets resolved and soon, don't like to see good posters leaving the site.

There is nothing to be resolved.

Puyol made a comment that I thought was inappropriate. I asked why he had done that...I think rightly btw ...as it had been a very innocuous thread up to that point. Even my comment that he took exception to was very light...you cant get much lighter touch than mentioning Patrick from spongebob squarepants.

This is all there in black and white. A few other posters (yes Celtic posters) jumped in which didnt help. They've both had their own issues with me. To bad.

I don't know why puyol decided to react in the way that he did. To suggest he was bullied is ridiculous.

However.. I dont think its right that he feels that he has to leave the site because of me. So I've stayed away for more than a week (which I've never done before). If he had reappeared I would have stayed off...but he hasn't.

I suspect that we'll see a 'new' rangers poster appearing in the next few weeks.

As for Child Abuse..I have never had an issue with it being raised on here as part of a legitimate discussion. My belief stated many times is that the club was surrounded by some creepy figures at the time and people in the club almost certainly were aware of what went on.

Not much I can do about it but if it turns out that anyone currently at the club was aware and remains in post, I'll be handing my season ticket back.
