J99, I'm convinced Emery won't last the season and could actually be gone by Xmas. If this does happen, then like I said before, I'm perfectly happy for Freddie/Pires/someone internal to take over the reigns until the end of the season.

They can't do any worse than Emery. And they've got respect from youth players and the senior players.

I also think Freddie isn't a fan of Xhaka. But it's coincidence that we've struggled to get into the top 4 since he's been at the club. Catastrophic signing.

IAWT, I've joined the dark side. I'm officially Emery Out.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mourinho’s available.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not actually sure which one would get the most from this group of players

Marcelino could be a shrewd appointment. I was impressed with what he did at Valencia.

Still not sure about our defence but we have a very talented attacking team. Give the job to a manager willing to take risk. Emery hates possession football and that has been the case since his sevilla time. Hasn't changed (despite the players at his disposal) and won't ever change.

I don’t think Marcelino speaks English, which could be a problem.

It’s slim pickings for top coaches right now. So it’d hard to see who Arsenal could go for that could drastically improve them.

It'll go to Freddie if Bumery gets sacked. I don't think it's a coincidence him and Bould switched roles. It was a warning shot to Bumery.

Allegri still jobless. Just saying.

I think that's one of the reasons I've turned against him, IAWT. It's the most conservative brand of football I've seen. It doesn't make sense to play this way because, even though we are incapable of defending effectively, whenever we're under pressure, we end up dropping deeper with no attacking outlets and a porous midfield. This magnifies our defensive frailties even further.

There's no spark or creativity. There's no attacking impetus. There's no willingness from our players to go on the front foot and really have a go at teams. It's like as soon as we go 1 goal or 2 goals up, we try to shut up shop and see the game out, rather than play naturally.

We have got some excellent attacking players in our side. Auba, Lacazette, Nelson, Pepe, Willock, Ceballos, Ozil, Martinelli, Saka, ESR. It feels like most of those players are having their attacking instincts curbed.

There's no pleasure watching Arsenal.

Just looking at all the online reaction, I'm quite surprised how many people are turning against Emery now.

I have to say though, I'm surprised by today's response from the fans.
Everyone around me, on here or people I follow on twitter have turned Emery out at the final whistle.

Allegri plays worse football than Emery Will probably get better results though.

Lampards Chelsea play better football than us.

On average how many chances do we create in games, especially away from home.

We get outplayed by most teams away from home

Yup, was saying this earlier. I think today was the final straw for many supporters.

He is, but I suspect Allegri’s keeping his eye on how things at Bayern, Madrid, Barca and PSG pan out.

Man, I really thought we'd turned a new leaf as a club after the 4-2 win vs Spurs last December. The mood was so different. Yet another false dawn it seems.

People are going on about Xhaka post match interview. But I think when he said "we were scared", I believe he was referring to the manager. The instruction probably were to hold on to the lead and see the game out. Really bad game management.

It is not as attacking, true but at least he can build a defence. I truly believe that even if we had VVD, Roberson and TAA in our team, our defence record wouldn't improve.

I'm talking about the quality of the foootball Haf, not if his teams have a certain amount of shots on target each game.

There is a stat - We've never gone 3-0 under Emery in the league. Dint want to read too much into it, but the trend seems to be that once we're 2-0, we get into a shell and start playing overly conservative, inviting pressure and inevitably conceding.

Yup, backs up what I've been saying.
