I don't rate Emery at all. Alan Smith is right. He's been here a year and a half and his English is appalling. No wonder the players don't understand him. He is a complete fraud. Any well run club would be looking to make a change at Christmas but this mess will roll on until the end of the season. I can see the atmosphere returning to the toxicity of the last days of Wenger very very soon.
Emery has lost some fans expect revolts by fans soon.

Doesn't matter who takes over. The next manager will still have to deal with an entire roster of average players, with the exception of Leno and Aubameyang.
I don't think the quality of our squad is where the issue lies.
