I think somebody - probably the player himself - mentioned the better facilities we have and McCall has taken it as an insult against Ayr. Feck knows.

It's always a big deal to beat the biggest team in the league.

“We believe we can make him an even better player with the facilities and coaching that is available at Dundee United”

That was the quote he took umbridge to. It’s one of those times where a comment like that is guaranteed to come back and bite you on the backside. That said it feels a wee bit like Kevin Keegan’s rant that time doesn’t it. Difference is we ended up getting scudded...
