Benny good luck tonight, I’m flying back back for the Sunderland game 2,646.9 miles, then back home on Tuesday 24th September before the cold gets in my bones.
Am I right in saying you can sit anywere at the moment
First there best seats system. ?
COYWM .
Have to have a ticket and seat number.
Mathews Emmanuel Lowe Hobbs Wright Buckley Crawford Chicksen Verlinden Politic Bridcutt
Subs
Alnwick Murphy Weir Darcy Zouma Brown Senior
A little tickle of the team from the weekend.
Time for a dip and something to eat before we start
0-0 ht much improved and much better to watch
How are we set up formation wise Pasty? With all the new names I need to learn I can't even make an educated guess based on the team sheet!!
WF, I think Crawford & Buckley main strikers first half
Politic & Verlinden providing and attacking
Cheers. From what Iles and other are saying it sounds like we are having the better of it and playing some nice stuff, just suffering slightly from a lack of out and out striker on the field.
Yes striker , and fitness levels , but slowly improving.
0-0 FT
We got s point we’ll be singing we are staying up at this rate
Jake Wright with a better game tonight
6,786 the crowd to night, people expecting no strikers and another drubbing ( MAYBE ) but 0-0 and a good performance, crowds will improve .
KH post match good interview worth a watch

Chalk and cheese from Saturday. The players looked far more fitter. The shape of the team was so much better, no chopping and changing in game. Defensively sound, oxford didn't have any clear chances. Difference from under parky. Pass from the back. Players want the ball, make themselves available. Going to struggle to score goals with no striker and some players being honest arnt that good quality wise but everyone gave their all. The fears I had Saturday have gone. Keep it up you never know what could happen.
Saturday its Sunderland at home they only managed a draw at home against Rotherham last night.
Some more training for us maybe nurse can patch up a striker to give us an extra boost another notch up the improvement ladder would keep the momentum going
Sad to see Fernando Ricksen 43 has lost his battle against MND he was a great servant and player at Rangers during his time there.
RIP
So only just spotted this. Got 2 tickets for oxford and none for Sunderland so likely to miss Saturday.
You can't Benny
Close your eye and imagine one of Lord Kitchener's famous posters and he's pointing at you. What would the slogan be ?
If that doesn't work what do we have to do to convince you to be there
concussion substitutes being debated expect it to become a rule around the globe n the near future I would like it to include a doctors certificate is required before being allowed to play or train again once the player is removed from the pitch due to concussion
Arrived back home at 2:20 am this morning. I was pleased to see that we managed a draw against Oxford. I drove through Oxford last night on the drive back.
All we need now is for our keeper to keep clean sheets like Tuesday, two fit strikers and we will be OK.
To be honest I'm not expecting much from the 2 strikers we signed anyway. Might be nuisance value. Can't see O'Grady being any good if Oldham were prepared to let him go. Thought Buckley did well in the striker role. Suggest Parkinson missed a trick. What are the chances of swapping an unused oxford ticket for tomorrow? Might be the only way of me getting to the match.
Parkinson missed a lot of tricks 😉
