I'd have Foyth in the 'Dier' position dropping back to make a 3 when the full backs (when we sign decent ones) bomb on. Sick of playing with effectively 2 defenders.

I would like to try this for Brighton. Ndombele clearly has the attributes to be a better attacking midfielder than a defensive one. He can drop back a little as and when needed.

Kwp let’s just give him till January as at this point we have nothing to lose as any other player is likely to make more mistakes.

We can't play Foyth at RB if we're insisting on this diamond - he's far too slow.

Foyth at RB has never been an acceptable solution to the issue for a team who (going into the start of the season) should have been aiming to make a title challenge and win something.

Yep, I agree, Dier could prove key to us moving forward if he can get back to the player he was before his illnesses.

i cannot believe that the club has not addressed the right back issue. levy poch and whoever else is responsible for the debarcle should fine themselves for negligence.

Especially as Poch had made comments about Dier and Davies being able to play at CB - with those two, Sanchez, Toby, Jan, Foyth and Tananga we have enough players to be able to do it.
