Berbatov was an artist, too refined for some of our fans (the same ones who think Pogba is overrated). Some of Berbatov's plays and goals will endure in people's memory, like proverbs. Those who love football love players like Berbatov.

I wasn’t joking the other day when I said Pogba has scarcely been better for us than Veron was - he’s just been here longer and in a poorer side.
I don’t say he’s the most overrated because I’m not sure exactly how highly rated he is nowadays.
I loved watching Berbatov play possibly the most skilful player I have ever seen. Not a great though as he didn't influence games very often.
Most over-rated, Hughes, loved him, scored great goals, but not enough of them. Plus plenty of the current side.

Jones was someone seen with huge potential. Don't think he can be considered overrated as he was young then. People seem to be confusing overrated with young players having potential. Macheda and Wilson for instance has never been overrated, yet someone listed him. Chong isn't overrated, he a young player who some see as having potential. To list them is ridiculous.
Jones was massively overrated. By the time he'd been linked with United he was incredibly ovethyped simply because he was a young English CB starting in the Prem.

Are Mount, Tammy Abraham and Declan Rice being hyped up right now or being over rated? I don't see that as over rating them as people are excited about their potential.

Most English youngsters are crazily overrated. Not just in the press but reflected in the transfer values and wages.
Wouldn't say Pogba is overrated as he's actually performed at the very top level fairly consistently.
The likes of Wilshere and Jones never did and are now too old to forge anything like the career some/many claimed they could.
Mount, Abraham etc are at the beginning of their careers so it's still very much open either way. Plus they're not being hyped up yet, they're simply starting games for Chelsea and playing very well
