abluesfan,
While I respect the views of many on these pages, I cannot find where McLeish is the bookies favorite.
Could you provide a link?
Marlon King is no angel. Far from it, but to say he should never work again is a bit harsh.
Are you suggesting every convicted criminal never has the chance to redeem himself? Even after his sentence has been fufilled.
He did the crime. He did the time.
Out of interest, did you attend Stans while Bowyer was playing?
Did you stay away when Barton played, or Woodgate. How about the likes of Rooney, Terry, Giggs ?
Did you cheer a goal by O'Connor? He was apparently involved in class 1 drugs.
Where do you draw the line? (No pun intended)
Come May 2012, and King has hit the net 15 or 20 times, I just bet his past will be history .

I very much doubt it, although I'd love to be proved wrong

I've just checked the odds and McLeish is infact the favorite to be the next Villa manager. They have him at 7/4 while the second favorite, Simon Grayson is 3/1.

Could be very interesting if they make an approuch.

Hey, if he does become the next Villa manager, do you think he'll play one up front for most the season?

The vile are welcome to Mcleish IMO, I will be glad to see the back of him! Yes I know we won the C C but other than that what has big eck given us, negative football, fewer goals, poor formation and team selections! If I was Pannu I would drive big eck to vile park myself

abluesfan,
You were spot on with the bookies AM call.
I hope it is just hype because I think the next best we could have got was Big Sam.

Pikey no probs..... I laughed at that when someone told me that night before.? Looked on sky would not put money on that though!! His stubbornes playing a striker that did not score for 6 months. I dont blame jerome it was manager who played week in week out a system that left jerome with a thankless task. AM cost us 40 million £££££ . Now we need a new Team. I hope we dont become the new Leeds . 5 years or more in wilderness for them .. Who will go first Yeung or AM?
