Thought it was a decent result with a poor performance. Always difficult when you’re playing away to your rivals in their cup final.
Onwards and upwards and onto to the next game, hopefully Mo is back.
Really disappointed with that as Utd are really poor , but in the end a point is ok , think they will be much better next week , spurs could get a real beating

Let's not sugar coat this, we were $hite. Whenever we go to Old Trafford we seem to forget how to play football, definitely some kind of mental issue. The fact that their goal stood was ridiculous, I had no issue with our disallowed goal though. But we were just sloppy and made too many basic mistakes. Even though United were 14th before kick off, it will always be one of the toughest games of the season as they will raise their game. But to get a point while playing so poorly is not the end of the world. We need to hammer Spurs though.
These games are nearly always poor and even more so now united play like a bottom half side.
Take the point and on we go.
Rubbish result if u ask me. But will take the point after a poor performance
But the combined xi was Liv 11 Utd 0, should have been a walkover win
Liverpool didn't get a corner till the last kick of the game. Liverpool were terrible make no mistake. We should of lost but thank goodness Ashley Young switched off at the back post for an easy tap in. We take a point and move on long way to go. UTD can have their day. Still a lot of football to play this season.
Even as a Utd fan I can’t take any solace from this result, Liverpool were Shiite today they were there for the taking!!
I remember the days when we played Shiite got a late equaliser and SAF would say come the end of the season we’ll look back on an important point that was!

Saying that we still had
More possession
More shots on goal
And playing against a team that set up just to break with their fast players. Typical mid table team set up you can see wht they struggle when they have to take the game to opposition and they cant do it.
ManU were deffo the better side in the first half. Independently of that, we were poor. We dodged a bullet today.
Full marks for the Reds though. Despite their earlier performance, in the last half hour they went for it. I was hoping AOC would be given a chance, and he made himself very busy. Likewise, Lallana and Naby, who Jurgen admits should have been on earlier.
One point. Game over. Move on
Pathetic performance but a decent point
Like to see him freshen it up for wed , would give a few of today’s starters a rest , think , Gomez , ox, Keita should all get a start and rest Salah TIL weekend

Badly need Mo back for Wednesday, massively important to win twice against Genk to qualify.
Agree about freshening things up, starts for Keita and Milner in midfield. Shaqiri needs to get himself fit as well, this squad is going to be tested to the max between now and new year.

I think listening to bin-dippers here, it's Liverpool who celebrated the draw

I wouldn’t risk mo , we should have enough for genk without him, maybe bring him off bench if needed
The City win did definitely put pressure on Liverpool and the fact that Liverpool were cocky and took the game like a walk in the park. Saying that, the game did highlight the lack of quality in both side for a creative spark in the middle Though Mata is one, Ole doesn't really trust him?
This was a great result for City, make no mistake.

Good weekend for City. To be fair though it had to be. Liverpool win today and it's another difficult game they've overcome.
Annoying that our two defeats have come away to Norwich and at home to Wolves. That's a good thing for Liverpool as it points to an inconsistency with City which suggests they won't be able to catch Liverpool (who have been incredibly consistent over this season and last season).
So, good to close the gap to 6 points. Also nice to have the 18 consecutive wins record remain intact.

They are 6 points behind and still have to play away at Old Trafford and Chelsea and only have played 1 top 6 team.
Ref saved them a point in their relegation scrap.
