Until Ndombele cleans up his act defensively they both have to start
the other 2 arent performing much of an act defensively either
Anyone know how Hutton's doing?

True
Seems like the midfield can't do anything to make up for fullbacks letting everyone past them
Winks and Sissoko simply doesn't offer enough. Not enough attacking intent or creativity. It was the wrong choice against Watford. Sissoko to be fair to him can put in a decent shift but he really lacks the skill levels that a team like Spurs should have in a starting 11. Neither are on Dembele's level. Ndombele has the most chance of replicating Dembele and he is actually a goal threat too. Should be a 1st teamer from now on.
Sissoko was absolutely brilliant saturday. Made one mistake but one of the only bright sparks. His postional sense and passing was great. Winks has become a bit lost i would argue he would be better in a three given more time on the ball currently he is effectively a defensive midfielder not playing to his strengths.

Look like Modric , you disappear for months, then come back with some right corkers mate. You are definitely on the WUM

I like the cut of your jib, LLM. Always have.
To be fair Sissoko by a long way was our best player Saturday. Just cannot play bith Winks and Sissoko.
All Winks does is keep the ball and distribute it with short range passes, and he does that very well usually. Occasionally he will carry the ball forward but not often enough.
He does not create, is not powerful or quick enough, does not really tackle like a defensive midfielder, he does not have a long range pass and carries next to zero goal threat.
He is a neat and tidy player and very good at what he does, if he is played in the correct formation.
He must be following instructions but I`d like him to be more forward thinking, I think he has the ability.
Need to get Emre Can in January on a loan
