you dont get it do you

I do actually.

Although, unlike yourself I give greater consideration to facts and actual evidence, ahead of rhetoric and soundbites.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well that ain’t hard.

This notion that everyone from the opposite side of the debate is this, that, or the other is so wrong. Stop stereotyping millions and millions of people and tarring people with the same brush, everyone has their own reasons for doing anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Erm, you vote alongside the British Union of Fascists, The BNP, Britain First and the EDL, you’ve pretty much stereotyped yourself.

As the wonderful David Lammy once commented “you lay down with Dogs, you get fleas”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Other leavers.

My left wing Belfast union Nipsa.

Galloway and the people who were against capitalist eu for decades on the left and in Labour.Lexit.

People before profit and those aligned to SWP.

Farmers, fishermen and small businesses.

Those who suffered from Tory and Labour policies after Blair opened up to mass immigration, kept going by Tories allowing 690k in each year, and so the UK population went up from the 97 Blair start to brexit vote day in 2016 by 8 million.

So in twenty years after Blair opened up on FOM, abetted by Tories since, the UK pop went up by 8 million without planning or spending on the schools, homes, hospitals and transport etc.

That left the poorest in the UK struggling against Tory austerity And competing with migrants for work and a house and a school place and hospital bed.

The leave protest vote was against politicians here, as well as those voting for self determination, or to protest about mass immigration, or Brussels bureaucracy.

The eu got blamed wrongly by some, but the protest vote was a message on several fronts, and not just economic either....

Remain do not get that, no matter how many times Just Shoot, Ging and I tell you.

Are we still pretending Lexit is a thing?

Lexit is not a thing.

And we’ve never had mass immigration in this country, so stop your vile racist lies.

PS, Jezza, there is no “jobs first” Brexit.

Do you think severe economic hardship will improve or abate the multitude of issues facing the country?

How will leaving the EU address the underlying problems?

It won’t.

But it’s not about that for them, it’s about being sh*tty towards foreigners, nothing else.

Don’t be told otherwise.

Misery loves company. If more people are miserable, the more likely it will instigate change. Keeping the status quo will do nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How will erecting trade barriers and making UK businesses less competitive protect the UK labour market, and the public purse?

How will 'change' ensue with the economic ability to do so?

People just no longer care about trade barriers, cost increase threats, WTO rules, jobs they have no control of and the like any longer.

It’s been sheite for them for years and no threats or “lecturing” from the “enlightened privileged” will make them just put up with the status quo where it appears everyone wants to keep them because it might get worse.

They want change and Brexit is their first decent chance.

That’s it.

They really don’t care. They’ve been told so many times about impending doom and gloom (not suggesting that many of the outcomes wont come to fruition) that it becomes meaningless and all they hear is constant whining, moaning, insulting and bleating from those who don’t like the way they’ve voted.

And the more they hear they more entrenched they become watching the “enlighten and privileged” marching around because they’ve got time to. Time they spend trying to eke out a minimum living.

It’s genuinely fwcking lost on millions and they know that deep down nobody really cares and just wants them to go back to their struggling lives so that the “enlightened” don’t have any disruption to their cosy existences.

Is it any surprise the country is divided because nobody gave much of a fwck about the poor downtrodden until now?

And if they get their way; nothing will change for the people that supposedly they care about and want to ensure they don’t jump out of the proverbial frying pan. The “enlightened” will just carry on as before until at some point in the future their cosy existence is threatened.
