Don’t have the faintest idea what fans becoming cultish recently means tam but I regularly talk to fans who watch the same games as you and are desperately disappointed that they can’t get tickets to see us live. But then who knows what you really think, maybe your moaning is just dropping a bomb to see how people react for your entertainment and really you love every minute of the games
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It means that if you aren't full of praise for the team, everyone jumps on you. Like our fans are incapable of comprehending that you can think we have the best team and manager we have had for generations but our style of play can be less than inspiring at times.
We have fallen behind in games more times than any other side this season. From that position we always struggle to win. Our performances in the first half of games are regularly poor and we struggle to create chances. Not allowed to say that though, as we have won a few games in Europe and beaten Man City. Identifying areas of weakness and wanting improvement is wrong.

I don’t know who you are referring to as being full of praise. Yesterday I criticised 4 players during the game, gem has put up an article about players that he thinks are under performing. But to me and I think most people I think the feeling at the end of the game was overwhelmingly positive. We are threatening to finish in the top half of the premiership and to progress in Europe. This to me is great to see and for people who have never seen a Wolves team this good to come online and be generally negative is something I struggle to understand. Of course when I paint the positive view I get jumped on and told I’m wearing rose tinted specs and similar cliches, what’s the difference other than its expressing a different view to yours?
Just reading about the online popularity of Raul Jiminez who along with Aguerro and Ozil they are the only players to have a bigger online following than the club they play for. Jiminez as Mexico’s top player has 8 times more followers than Wolves, and Wolves have more followers in Mexico than they do in the uk. To his credit he still seems to keep his feet on the ground, and after his mini rest recently he is getting back to his best
an appreciation by cinci, tam and others that it can be quite difficult to play sparkling top 7 prem and european football at times with a smaller than average squad and only 18 months out of the championship would be good
This is much better. We're now debating about how good we are instead of the reasons why we were so Shiite. 💩

Again, it is perfectly possible to appreciate where we are, but be disappointed with the style of play (particularly in the first half of games).
Why does everyone have to operate in absolutes on here?
As a season ticket holder, I've really enjoyed the meteoric rise from Championship struggle to Europa league in the shortest time possible. However I do think that Cinci has a point, we do seem to have become much more safety first, maybe because teams are setting out to disrupt our game, but we're nowhere near as fearless as we were last season. Could be down to individual form, tiredness, deliberate tactics, I dont know but we seem not to be looking to get the ball forward as much and seem afraid of making the kinds of runs and passes that were opening teams up last term. If its tactical its not working as we seem to actually be conceding possession much more as we ponder the safer option.
That said, Im still pinching myself, sat here on a Friday morning after another away victory in Europe.

I am plenty appreciative and have pointed out many times the biggest issue being the hopeless transfer business leaving our squad very thin.
But nobody can suggest we play anything other than negative football and that safety first approach has seen us win two of nine league games so far this season.
our style of play under nuno is inherently negative - strong packed defence, encourage the opposition to attack us and catch them on the break - ironically what slovan did to us for their goal.
I think that our style of play is far more important to those who go to the games and/or watch the majority on TV. For those of us that listen to the games on the radio or Wolves TV commentary, the results become far more important than how we achieve them.
For me the greatest concern with regards team performance is how we seem to play almost every game in two halves. First half performance is invariably poor and second half much better but we are then, so often chasing the game.
haven't noticed any comment on here about kilman playing, perry on the bench and campbell in the squad.
kilman played well i thought, certainly better than vallejo on saturday, and all encouraging regarding our young players on the fringes of the first team squad.

I agree. If Bennett is not available I would rather see Kilman on the left and Boly on the right than with either Saiss or Vallejo involved.
