Regardless of your form this game always has the potential for us to get a good 'Southampton-ing'(!) so 3-0 (or lower) and i'll be happy.
Judging by Emery press con yesterday we will be seeing a lot more of Torreira playing as the advanced MF
Last season home defeat to Palace ultimately was the cause of costing us top 4 last season we went on to lose our next 2 league games and then drawing to Brighton.
Could today be the day where Arsenal FINALLY win a league game by a 2 goal margin or more? or will Palace inflict more misery on us.
Palace will probably use Milivojevic, Kouyate and McArthur to pack their midfield today.
28, 29 and 32 years old respectively.
Heads will need to roll should those 3 lumps end up outworking and outrunning our much, much younger midfield today.
COYG!!!
The result is obviously important but the performance is just important. No team has devine right to just win easily but if we dont see a better more controlled performance then Emery is just adding to the already growing pressure on his shoulders. Decisions like not playing Tierney/ Holding and having Torriera pushed further forward is just absolute nonsense. I applaud him for giving youth a chance but that ain't going to save him if he continues with these dumb decisions.
Benteke and Zaha to score today.
Front 4 could not be better. Swap Xhaka out for Torreira and Sokratis for Holding and we'd have our best available 11 until Bellerin is back. Hoping we click going forward.
