He`s been affected by injuries the last year or so, I think if he gets a run injury free he will rediscover his form.

He has also apparently recently cut out a lot of his social media activities etc, which tells us he realizes his form is not good enough and he now wants to focus fully on football. Being left out of the England squad must have been a kick up the aris for him.

Time will tell whether he goes on to be a great player or just another Walcott.

At this stage Dele is probably dreaming of a career like Walcott’s where he actually manages to win a few trophies

Genuinely serious, I’ve never thought he was anything special.

Apart from that season and a half where he scored a good few (basically playing as a second striker), what are his outstanding attributes? Like really what are they?

I don’t see them. He is to me what opposition fans probably think of Lingard as. Hype, no product.

I know he scored alot of goals but he's never really been a player I've enjoyed watching tbh

Undoubtedly being mismanaged under Poch but he really should be kicking on to better things taking into consideration the start he has had at spurs

Alli’s main forte is his ability to find the spaces that attacking midfielders like Lampard could do, arrive late in the box and score. Between 2015 - 2017 he was outstanding.

On the face of it it doesn’t sound like such a remarkable quality but so few players have the ability to do it. Obviously Alli has struggled since the World Cup and his goals have dried up, and consequently the team is carrying him somewhat.

He needs to get back to basics because he is a top player when on form. I don’t think it helps that we’ve lost the dynamic we had in midfield and at the full backs and I particularly blame the sale of Dembele and regression of our fullbacks for that.
