Why should he apologise?

There were 100 reasons for him to apologise even before Sunday
Everyone should apologise to torreira
To many of the squad are mentally fragile, which is part of the Wenger legacy. Until that changes progress will be limited.

Robbie from AFTV said so
It's finally happened.
The last remaining player on our official list of scapegoats has finally been run out of town by the fanbase.
The poisonous attacks from the cowardly social media campaign against him didn't work. So why not single him out during a collectively poor game and boo him off the pitch?
I wonder who we're supposed to target next. All the usual suspects have either been sold off or frozen out and we're still shytte.

Brilliantly said. While Xhaka was bang out of order with his reaction, the “supporters” that cheers his substitution and booed must share the blame in this mess.
As average and limited as he is,Xhaka did not make himself Captain or picks himself to play.
While he is donning the shirt and representing the brand , he deserves support.
They didn’t boo Xhaka off the pitch until he gave them a reason to.
I admit the sarcastic cheers are uncalled for but obviously there are so many frustrated fans they just need to find a way to vent
Xhaka has definitely become the fall guy for his manager’s and team’s failings (which obviously he is a massive part of). The same thing was happening to Jorginho at Chelsea last season. Compare how both players handled the unfair crowd reactions and you can see why Xhaka doesn’t have the mentality to play at a big club, never mind captain one
Xhakas been awful but it's mainly down to emery having no clue how anyone should be playing in the whole team apart from left backs
Lets just hope it brings us closer to the end of Emery's era at Arsenal

Many players have been booed and criticised only to win the fans around by showing how good they are. Those players have gone on to establish themselves as legends.
If you expect fans to cheer for you then you have to also accept them booing if you perform poorly.
