I feel we really need to sort out the midfield and get a good supply to Lewis to enable him to go on a good scoring run like we know he can. We will also be back to our best when Dawson returns to give us solidity at the back which we’ve been missing
Possibly the last game we need atm, Luton away will be a real challenge. I remember going their a few seasons ago and getting beat 2-1, first goal tomorrow will be so important. We need a strong performance to get us back on track in preparation for the sheep, yes I know we have to take it ‘one game at a time’, but we need to build some confidence. Probably take a draw tomorrow but with an improved showing.
Forest had better be ready for them today. They’re really going to fancy themselves at home at Kenilworth Road, which is a proper tight old ground. Hopefully Lamouchi has straightened out whatever was going on defensively last week against Hull. For me, Chema isn’t quite up to speed yet and was all at sea for both goals. Robinson also didn’t cover himself in glory for the first goal. They’ll be the two at risk.
Brennan Johnson might come into contention to try and crank the midfield up a bit. Lacking that quality ball into the box recently. Could he be the one to provide it?
But first, the Rugby World Cup Final!
Come on England!! 🏴
Samba
Cash Worrall Chema Ribeiro
Watson Yates
Lolley Silva Ameobi
Grabban
Muric Figueiredo Robinson Johnson Adamoah Carvalho Mir
Carvalho and Robinson the weak links last time out. Bostock and Mir poor the game before that.
I can’t see us winning this. Not until Semedo or Sow are back. Probably a 3-1 win then? Head says 1-1 draw.
Morning REV, thanks for posting.
You give us a glass half-empty summary but it is spot on. Defeat in this game alone would not normally worry me too much but three defeats in a row against Wigan, Hull, and the Luton would definitely mark us as a top half team at best.
But win today and next week would put us back among the contenders.
Although we were poor against Dull, I wouldn't want to see too many changes today. Ribeiro in for Robinson, and Yates for Carvalho would be the changes I would make.
Keep it tight to begin with; they will come at us all guns blazing; but we know we can cope with that. We should be looking to catch them on the break.
A sell out away following again today and we know they will give the team good backing and create a good atmosphere.
I fancy it will be tight today, but can see us hanging on for a 2-1 win.
Hope the football goes better than the Rugby.😂

We all suspected they got a bit carried away by beating the All Blacks. I wanted them to play Wales rather than the Springboks. Had a feeling they would do a number on England.
Forest need to really lift me today. 😕
Changes I thought but also Figs in for Chema
Chema was off the pace against Hull. Hit the wall a little after a decent start. Was blowing a bit when they launched that counter attack and scored the second goal.
Hope to see the Ryan Yates that came into O’Neill’s team last season and shook things up. He is more than capable. One of those players who can really go toe to toe with the opposition and not back down. Could be key in a game like this where Luton will really look to get on top of Forest from the off.
Certainly think Watson will be happier with him alongside. Should be a more comfortable pairing than him and Silva, who’s lacked a little in stature for centre mid in this league, I feel.
Robinson probably paid the price for a little bit of ball watching for Magennis’ goal last week. Lamouchi will also want to use Ribeiro as a bit of an out ball this afternoon when the defence come under the cosh a little and not leave it all to Cash.
Have a feeling the Red’s could lift my blues today and put in a performance to really get everyone feeling better about the season again.
Luton 0-2 Forest.
Yates and Cash with the goals.
Glass half full?
Maybe, but just frustrated once again with the lack of consistency - just when it looks like we can do something special, we shoot ourselves in the foot - it’s just typical Forest
I don’t care that we’re away, I don’t care that Luton will be up for it - this should be ours!
Last season they were League one, and on paper we have a far superior squad
They are 6th from bottom, and Forest, if they’re serious about Promotion, really ought to be putting teams like this away comfortably IMO
Nothing less than 3 points today

Buggerit,
Can't get a video stream. No iFollow video today.
Some weird injuries going off, a lot of players who were touted back a week or two later are now been out a full month now.
Could do with a result, the side was much improved when Yates was subbed on vs hull

Agree - frustrated that Dawson is once again looking like a ‘sick note’
Was told originally that it would be just a couple of weeks, nothing serious
Over a month later, still no sign
