and if we get any more than 3 points from the 3 remaining november games we will be ahead of ourselves going into december from last season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We only have 2 more games in November pal, Villa on the 10th and Bournemouth on the 23rd.
But as you rightly say, any more than 3 points will see us in a better place than last season when we went into December in 13th place with 16 points.
So cinci is happy with mid table but thinks two wins isn’t good enough
Anyone like to point out to him that our results so far have put us mid table?

If we maintain this form points wise we will end up with 45 points. Quite a drop off from last season. Would rather we played like yesterday as I firmly believe we would be maybe five-six points better off right now.
But we wouldn't be mid table then would we?

Last season that would be 13th-14th spot. Would many be happy with that?
So you would be unhappy finishing mid table with 45 points because it would have put us below mid table On points a year ago? Let’s ignore the fact that the season before it would have put us 9th and the season before that 10th.
Cue cinci dashing off to find stats to try to convince us why we should be as negative and depressed as he is
I honestly don't know what point you have been trying to make the last week other than arguing for the sake of it. I don't have much of an issue with the points, more the performance and the fact we need to convert draws into wins.
I have said I was unhappy with our abject displays in general, especially first halves and the fact we were having less shots than any team in the division. You apparently were happy with this.
I was much happier with what I see as a much improved effort yesterday, you I assume were not moved by it any more than previous performances.
But let's be honest, you are the same as the other clown lone wolf(complete about face given a week ago he was unhappy with our efforts) and more intent on taking a pop than anything else.
Someone (Spangles I think) mentioned the other day that he was hoping for a midfielder and a centre back in the January window.
I'm just watching thePalace v Leicester game and thinking how nicely James Madison and Patrick Van Aanholt would fill the bill.
PvA is an attacking left back.

Madison definitely would but don't see anyone from Leicester coming our way currently.
I'm not suggesting that we should buy either of them, just that they are both impressive and would look good in gold and black

As is Willy Boly
Sounds like Balotelli walked off the pitch at Verona ten mins ago due to racial abuse
Remember saying Maddison was someone we should have gone for when he was at Norwich. Getting better all the time and it would take a massive bid to get him out of Leicester now.
A player we were linked with in the summer was the Spanish midfielder Dani Olmo who plays for Dynamo Zagreb. Only 21 and would be a great signing. Read an article about him in September saying how disappointed he was that Zagreb wouldn't let him take up the chance of moving to one of the major leagues. Love to see us go back in for him
Another win for Leicester. Remember thinking towards the end of last season that, other than us, they were the team most likely to break into the top 6.
I remember singing Maddison's praises when he was a fringe player at Coventry. Always thought he was a player with huge potential.
Good team Leicester and like us last season they are having the fortune of hardly any injuries. If that continues throughout the season they look capable of top six for sure. Especially with Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs struggling for results
A couple of top six spots up for grabs this season by the look of it and Leicester look nailed on to get one of those and quite possibly better than that a top four spot.
Always rated Rodgers and never understood the ridicule
They don’t have European footy Or threads to factor in though
It will be a different story next year if they do !
Leicester have no more depth in their squad than we do, possibly less. Their bench today had Demari Gray and not much else. So they would have struggled greatly if they had played as many games as us
Maybe they will strengthen their squad in the summer, and just get some chancer to copy and paste the match threads?
Don't think there is any doubt our lack of injuries was a big factor last season and it was daft to think we would continue to not get injuries especially given the extra games. That of course is compounded by having a tiny squad.
Have to believe that we will add in January and suspect we will go at it next summer in a big way given we will likely see at least one star go the other way.
Who do you think might leave Cinci? Heard a few suggest Boly might be the most likely. He would take some replacing, but possibly not as much as Jimenez or Jota. I’m surprised to hear myself say it but Neves might be the easiest star to replace.
