Why Torreira is being played like this by Emery is totally baffling. He may as well not be on the pitch. Why cant Emery see this. He is a defensive midfielder end off. Look what happened to Chelsea when they tried to do this with Kante. It dose not work. Can someone tell him.

Kante arguably had his best season in England last year imo. Guys never been just a Dm
And there it is...switch off and they equalize
Torreira is not a defensive midfielder. Never was in the first place.
The only silver lining so far, is that we finally have a Head Coach who's realised this. This means that the transfer team can finally pull their finger out and prioritise this position in the next window.
