Keane and Defoe weren't world class. Not sure about Berbatov either. But I get you're point and think the same thing. It's like the better we've become the fewer strikers we've had. To only have one real striker for a team that just reached a CL final is itself a joke.

Half the players he mentioned as well weren't strikers, and yeah like you say in prior seasons others have stepped up and contributed. No doubt we could us another forward though, someone with pace who can finish.
