I remember the Bergkamp game well. Steve Walsh's late header to deny them the win. The place erupted.
Feeling quietly confident about the weekend's encounter at the moment, but i know by Saturday I'll be as pessimistic as the next Leicester fan. Hope for the best and expect the worst is the mantra of most City fans.
Same team, same formation for me.
I think Barnes is playing well and deserves his run in the side. Just a matter of time before he steps inside the full back and curls one into the top right corner.
An early goal could be important - as usual!
That game is right up there in my top 10 Leicester moments.
The Walsh/Wright dynamic just made it even better.
However I agree that Arsenal normally fill me with dread. For some reason my dad used to always take me to Arsenal away (never Spurs?!) and without question we always got spanked. I remember the year Henry tore us a new one when Arsenal were in their pomp.
As for this game, I can believe I’m going to say this but if we go at them I think we can cause them huge problems. 4-1-4-1 and the same team. Start on the front foot, press high and get Vardy to ring rings around sideshow bob and his brother!....
.... which clearly means they’re going to do us doesn’t it!!!!
If fact we've won the last two of this fixture, really hoping to make it three times lucky
Theres no Walcot to come on and nick it so I'm looking forward to it
Won't even bother me if we go 1-0 down 😉
I remember the 3-3 I was in Ireland at the time and lost the radio signal, aerial on the metal fireplace, it use to get sky in black and white as well on the portable 🤷♂️
Had to go to teletext for score, something like
90 min 1-1,, 91min 1-2,91min 2-2,,
92 2-3,,,then about 3 mins later said 3-3 then to wait for morning paper
You will win 5-4 from 4-0 down

I felt I became something of a hoodoo with Arsenal matches so I stayed away. It all started with the defeat at Highbury (March/April ‘68) and what a handful George Armstrong was so I never looked forward to City’s ensuing battles thereafter.
George Armstrong. Didn't he play (I use the word loosely) under Frank McKlintock?
Remember too well the defeat at Arsenal in our title winning season.
Another gem from Martin Atkinson, whose performances recently have been appalling.
Yes, only a few years ago we would still be saying, and now for our formality Arsenal defeat.... part one of two. We seemed prone to be hit for 6 or 7 every now and again against them. The 3-3 aside
Not this time. I believe the way Arsenal play (I dont hear many Arsenal say they know what this is exactly under Emery) will suit our system and intent and we'll actually rip them a new one! Emery sacked Monday morning.

Play for us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think so. I missed a great deal of the relegation season under Frank Mc.
MON said Bergkamp almost had him applauding.
I see Leicester as favourites for this game
Anything other than a Leicester win would be
a surprise
I worry about Lacazette and Aubameyang, such a fantastic partnership.
Not a straight forward game in any way, always beware the wounded animal.
Looking at the league table it shows that Arsenal have only lost 2 games. That’s the same as us. They’ll be a tough nut to crack.
It is, however, an opportunity to put nine points between us and them. They’re currently in 5th and might well be the team we have to finish above if we’re able to maintain our form and subsequent aspirations for top four.
The most exciting thing from my perspective is that if we play to our full potential and they play to theirs, it’s not a foregone conclusion who will win. Incredibly for us to have made that sort of progress given that this side is more than 80% changed from the 2015/16 title winning side.
Chris Kavanagh is ref, so no doubt he will be looking to give dubious penalty against us like at Anfield.
He is a clear homer, so lets hope he is consistant, doubt it,favours larger teams.
Var is Attwell, he was relegated from prem league few years ago,has been back in prem for a couple of years.Still could have been worse, Moss or Atkinson for example, both have no place in prem league.
Imperative Arsenal keep 11 men on the pitch. Our last 2 visits to Kingpower stadium we've had a player sent off in the first half. Leicester go into this game as favourites and rightly so as they are the in form team, playing good football whereas we are on a poor run of form, away form very poor and we can't defend any leads currently.
Is there much point in trying to guess the team? Well here goes nothing:
Schmeichel
Ricardo Evans Soyuncu Chilwell
Ndidi
Perez Maddison Tielemans Barnes
Vardy
This is of course hoping that the favoured Puelball formation with 2 DMs has been permanently consigned to the bin of history where it belongs.
Not so sure about the subs:
Subs:
Ward Justin Morgan Choudhury Praet Iheanacho Gray
Interestingly my autocorrect comes up with Ian as 'I headache'.
We are screwed... Lawro has predicted us to win 2-1
Durham has us losing 4-2.
