Thought it was just odd that Kane stayed on last night at 3-0 and 4-0. Why not just get Lucas on - gives him some time & may be confidence. Takes Kane out of the firing line and a wee bit of rest.

We play at least 2 games a week. He will probably play as many minutes in the season as any other player for a non-European competing team. That’s at least 13 other premier league teams.
Could have made a similar article about Dier, and then yesterday, up he pops and has a decent game.

He seems good as a second half option but hard to know how much Poch really fancies him given his limited game time.
I'll love him forever for what he did in Amsterdam but I'm not a huge fan tbh. I find him quite frustrating to watch.

He seems good as a second half option but hard to know how much Poch really fancies him given his limited game time.

I have never been a great fan mate, I admit that, but that is mainly because he rarely gets picked, and when he does he never does a lot. I hoped when he first came that he would be good, but the manager took so long to play him, that I just couldn`t get that excited about him. That said I always hope he does well, because he seems a really good professional.

I have never been a great fan mate, I admit that, but that is mainly because he rarely gets picked, and when he does he never does a lot. I hoped when he first came that he would be good, but the manager took so long to play him, that I just couldn`t get that excited about him. That said I always hope he does well, because he seems a really good professional.

For a player not wanted by PSG and only costing £25m, which isn't particularly much these days, it would probably be overly optimistic to expect a real top class addition to the team. That said, he's done well and has offered some very important contributions.

True but i remember from the Redknapp days when the preferred XI got played to death and the back up got rusty and lost conditioning on the side lines, when called upon they were not at the pace or motivated.
Lucas can be a real weapon but it hes not even going to get time when we're 4-0 then he'll lose motivation.

We haven`t got that, Spurs used 14 players last night, and three or four of the players that started at Everton were not involved last night.

He lost all motivation after the CL semi.
After scoring a hat trick in the way he did that night should have cemented his place in the starting XI for the final. He’s just going through the motions now until something better comes along

I’ve always been in favour of him getting more minutes but tbh when he has had the chances this season he hasn’t taken them so I can’t really complain. Probably best as an impact sub but I still think He should have started the CL final in place of Dele.
