Disgrace if it’s called off. The EFL should investigate how it is that a club can be so incompetent it can’t cope with a bit of drizzle every now and then. Didn’t they have one called off last time there was a shower aswell? Pathetic. How many other Championship teams have called off matches this season? If they can’t provide a playing surface then they forfeit the game, simple as that.
It will be ok when they move to the new ground in Clifton - won't it?

I agree, if the match is cancelled, then Forest should be punished, there’s no excuse in this day and age for a Club in the Championship have match to be called off due to a waterlogged pitch
I was pretty confused and miffed when the game against Reading was abandoned the other week - if it were to happen again serious questions an out competence need asking
It won't be the pitch surely but public transport, access, emergency services with other priorities perhaps? As with snowmageddon, decision and benefit of doubt between the club and police advice.................
There seems to be consensus that there needs to be severe punishment, I suppose the only question is exactly what that punishment should be. Clubs aren’t allowed to join the EFL at all if their grounds aren’t up to standard so there surely is a case for expulsion. Seems the logical solution. Otherwise it will just keep happening.

I think expulsion is slightly drastic - a fine maybe, but it’s still totally unprofessional for a cancellation due to rain, especially when the pitch could have been covered form the last few days
Personally, I can’t believe it’s actually going to be called off - but again

In the Lake District so not bothered if it’s called off and the doggies are docked 30 points.

If anything, expulsion is lenient. Forest should be expunged from all football records. They will never have existed. It’s the best thing all round.
In fact really they should raze the 5hitty Ground, sell the land off for social housing, rename them Notts Florest (because that's where they play) and make them start again Notts Senior League.
Well, when you think in the last 4 meetings between Derby and Forest, Derby haven’t managed a single goal! It’s not a surprise they want history expunged

Colin the nutter was desperate for it to go ahead tweeting photos of the cleared carpark as some kind of evidence. The approaches and outside areas where horrendous and the FA agreed with Derby.
End of.
This coming from a club who now denies buying Sala despite a great outpouring of grief not least from Colin himself.
Despicable club.
Not surprising to see Forest use this garbage as some kind of pre-emptive justification for calling tomorrow's game off.
I can’t believe that the best you have to offer is the hope that the game gets postponed. The game will go ahead and we’ll soon see has the bragging rights. At best you can close to a point, at worst you will be 7 points behind, potentially 10.
All the better, Rooney will be on board along with any new signings come the rematch.
I'd be peeved to give them a leg up tomorrow which is very possible the way we are away from home.

Micheal Fish is on board folks, all is well.
Rooney
He’ll be taking his £20K a week and play half a season for you - then he’ll be off on his merry way
I also hope Derby have things in place to keep Rooney away from Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett
That really would be a recipe for disaster
