Tough to call this soon in the season. Things looking good for Lampard but it’s such early days.

Currently I wouldn’t be betting on chelsea in the next three years but let’s see.

What you have to factor in, is that next summer we will have the transfer budgets for three windows, the transfer money from the sales of Hazard, Morata plus transfers of a number of other lesser known players to spend, then the whole picture could have taken on a different complexion next season.

If we're smart (and I believe Frank is) a large outlay on 2 or 3 top class players, to compliment the young players, is all that's needed to take this team to another level.

I think we all realise the need for an upgrade at LB is essential, along with another wide player to offset the potential release of Pedro and Willian and possibly replace Giroud and Batshooey.

If we get that right, allied to the youngsters having a years further experience under their belts, we could be in a position to mount a serious challenge sooner than many of us think.

Hard to tell, we're still work in progress atm, hopefully won't have to wait long.

Still early in Lampards career

He might not be Chelsea manager at the end of the two years most people are talking about. He's certainly off to a flyer though.

If not for a bit of luck we could have been up there this season although I don’t think no matter the circumstances that we could have.

Like Brum says all depends on the windows and how we improve going forward. It looks like Liverpool’s this year and is a perfect storm for them and they are stuttering over the line every week. Next year I can’t see them being as effective.

I would normally had said 2/3 years but if one club can win a title out of nowhere it’s us

Yeah exactly Nick. It's impossible to call with us. Nobody gave us a prayer of winning the title going into the 16/17 season and yet we did. And yet in other seasons when we were expected to win it we've finished 10th.

So many variables going forward though. If we keep Lamps, keep developing this brilliant class of 19 and have some good transfer windows as well then there's every chance we become very serious title contenders within the next two years.

Yeah I think we’ll win it with our next manager after Lampard’s gone. Some big name will come in and spend big and get us competing for the title again.

I think if we're patient, Super Frank is going to deliver.

Definitely, I'd give him years but I don't think he needs that long.
