I didn't like Ade sulking about his eye and wanting to go off when it wasn't anything serious.

I never was worried but I did expect after the 4-0 beating of Liverpool that we'd get similar scores thereafter for a while. I also thought when I switched on to see that we were 0-2 up that it would be so but no. Spot on Cockney,we mustn't get complacent and play to the final whistle. Far too much overconfidence cost us a big win today.

ADE has made a big difference.
But we have not given Dos Santos a chance as yet. And VDV can play as striker too.
A big question mark is that little frenchman at LB.

Err, he got a finger in his eye. Maybe nothing serious in the long run, but bloody painful at the time.

Do you actually have a clue hat you are talking about ?? Because with each passing post you make, you seem to come across even more clueless than before.

I think that because the result against Wigan was so much closer than our result against Liverpool it would suggest that Wigan are a better side than Liverpool

I used to coach and manage rugby teams - one of the lads that played for me lost an eye because of a finger in the eye - just a thought but if you know not of what you're talking about it's sometimes best to say nothing

Physio clearly thought he was fine to play on so he should of just got on with it

posted on 24/9/11

Maybe he couldn't see the physio telling him to stay on?

Wigan hadn't lost at home since February

We beat Liverpool 4-0
We beat Wigan 2-1

Liverpool got reduced to 10 men and Spurs scored 3 more
Wigan got reduced to 10 men, stopped us from scoring and scored 1 themselves

You do the maths (or sums)

Physio saw to his eye though and thought it was fine, even looked again when he came moaning to the sideline.

I don't like the fact he left his position while the game was in play, let his team mates down.

posted on 24/9/11

Well if he couldn't see properly he may not have been much use (although still better than Pav)

the nasty Adebayor let his team mates down <stampsfeetandsulkssmiley>

I believe he was making it seem worse then what it was and Harry wasn't putting up with the sulky side of Adebayor.

I've had plenty of injuries, but you still play on if it's nothing serious, it's only a bit of pain! Deal with it!

possible blindness not being serious in your book?

Some of us have speculated whether the loss of the Everton game cost us a bit of the 90 mins sharpness you need to get in the legs.

Both the Manc games seemed to have Spurs there or thereabouts for 60 odd mins, and then they just fell away. And the Hearts away game was not your typical PL encounter in terms of a workout, was it.
