These next two games are season defining, if they go wrong as is well possible it will be excruciating to see the pressure Ole will come under .
Managers come and go but this will feel like a family death when the inevitable happens.

Get over yourself... Its a game of football ! Didn't hear United Fans waxing poetically about OGS when you were crowing about winning the Community shield etc under Jose. Never heard such a load of bollix about a former player..... Tons of former players go back and manage clubs they did well at. BTW..... OGS wasn't even that good... He was a facking supersub. United fans love to rewrite history. God knows what you will be like if an actually decent player game back to manage.... unbearable nonsense
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have a history of winning things and players who score in champions league finals, as a spurs fan you can just remember a nice pass from Hoddle or a couple of decent Argies so now wonder you don’t understand

He’ll be missed because he’s our best option but he hasn’t been that great, he’s been pretty useless the last 2 games. Hopefully Greenwood can take his chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His link up is vastly underrated in how it brings out the best of rashford and our sheit midfield.
I think you’re overrating tbf, he’s done it well in maybe 2-3 games but other than that he hasn’t really. There’s been some nice link up play with Rashford at times but nowhere near enough.

He has a point though, the reason we are so $hit at the moment is because the club is too sentimental, living in the past. We are actually starting to sound like Liverpool now. Ole was a great player for us, but management is a completely different ball game, and at that he's totally incompetent for the job. Sometimes, you need to be ruthless and Utd aren't that, clubs too nice, to be the best, you need to be ruthless and forget about loyalty. it means nothing in this day and age. If you ain't up for the job...bye bye.
I don't quite know how he has another injury, its not as if over exerts himself to do any damage.
Our team is full of crocks.

We sacked Moyes after 9 months of a 6 year contract... We sacked LVG after he won the FA cup (literally after)... We sacked Jose as soon as he went full on destructive.
We are as ruthless as the rest.

Moyes should have been dismissed a lot earlier when it was obvious he wasn't up for the job, LVG, should have been fired around December when we were pi$$ poor for ages barely able to score a goal, Mourinho, it wen't downhill after the Saville game, then wasn't backed in the summer, allowed to continue all the way till December when things got really bad, then hired a caretaker coach, and made him permanent because of a few good results.

Good to see our superstar crock has been working his socks off in Miami
I think we should sack managers if they have a bad 45 minutes, show some proper ruthlessness. If the next manager doesn't turn things around in the second half, drop the axe.

This for me represents everything I hate about modern day football fans. Firstly, Ole was very good. But even if he wasn't very good, the idea that you can't idolize a player that represented you club if he wasn't exceptionally talented is that of a spoiled child.
Ole is held in such high regard because of his talent and his attitude. He had numerous opportunities to leave, including to Spurs, but decided to stay and accept that he wouldn't play every game. He always gave everything for the club and was always ready when he came off the bench, which is why he holds our record for most goals as a sub. But the goals he scored from the bench only account for 30% of his goals. The idea that he was only a super-sub is nonsense. He helped us win 6 PL titles, 2 FA Cups and scored a last minute winner in the CL final. Are you a moron? Of course we are going to idolize him. He is a club legend. Absolutely no re-writing of history here, for a man that has won more league titles in his playing career then any of Tottenham player has. In fact, he has won more league titles than your club in it's whole history.
Two warm places, for warm weather training.

Ole is a legend for the club...I get that. But he's not doing a good job as a manager. 6 wins in 24 premier league games since March, that's relegation form, and for a club like Utd, that's unacceptable.
To be honest with Martial out, I think Greenwood has to start. He has clearly been very carefully managed this season, but he has a real eye for goal (6 starts 4 goals I think). This could be the perfect game for him to really announce himself on the Premier League stage.
All we have to do is look back at how toothless we looked when Martial was out at the start of the season to see it's time for Mason to start
I made an article a couple of months ago saying Martial was becoming a sick note and was shut down by most.
He’s a missed a hell of a lot of football in 2019.
