Our best CB AC to partner Rudiger eventually.
Don't think the latter comes straight back into the side from injury, works his way back in (Franks words).
CB partnerships will be fluid anyway.
Frank has shown that he's capable at rotating (not afraid to drop anyone), spreading the gametime reasonably well and extracting the most/best out of them.
I suspect Rudiger will start at the earliest against Spurs away.
Rudiger plays on the right doesn’t he? You’d imagine him and Tomori will be your first choice cb’s, until Rudiger gets injured again.
It seems Tomori may already be 4th choice as now Christensen is back he has started last two games. On form Zouma should start but it’s not a CB partnership I’d want going forward long term
What’s the deal with Christensen? Chelsea fans seem to hype him up but the managers don’t seem to rate him that highly.

I don't rate him that much...he's ok but slightly prone to an error of judgement...which is only human to be fair...but Zouma is getting better all the time he's playing...solid now...i'd go as far as to say playing as well as Rudiger was prior to injury

Tomori is definately prone to errors....quite acceptable at this stage of his career but a bit scary
A back four of Emerson Zooms Rudi & RJ looks like the future to me...unless there's a worldy defender we have our eye on in January....speaking of which...?
Christensen reminds me of Lindelof. I think they’re too weak to be top cb’s in the prem, they both get bullied so easily.
How is Rudiger playing on the left hand side? Zouma is awkward enough as it is on the right so it’s probably not best he switches to the left.

He looks the least impressive of the four cb’s you have. I wonder if Chelsea might look to move him on and go for someone like Koulibaly in the summer? A top left back, centre back and a forward and Chelsea could be in business.
Now that all 4 are fit, we're about to find out which 3 CBs will be the predominant matchday squad participants (2 starting & 1 on bench) in upcoming weeks.
Frank (+ Jody) clearly rates AC highly (deservedly so), even If majority of the fanbase don't.

Current management rating AC who still happens to be young (with the biggest upside), is good enough for me. He's going to exponentially improve under Frank
Ah ok, I didn’t see your game. Perhaps Lampard is trialling him on that side for when Rudiger returns?

That'd be brilliant
It is. Especially as he's our best CB.
I doubt Christensen’s mum even believes he’s Chelsea’s best centre back.

Good comparison actually, and I have faith in both to grow into the league. I really like Lindelof personally.
With Christensen it's also a bit psychological I think. He hasn't hit the form he had in Germany for us but he was our best CB in 17/18 right up until his mistake against Barcelona - and hasn't been quite the same since.
I don’t, Lindelof just hasn’t got enough about him to become a top cb in this league. Especially playing next to Harry Maguire. Unfortunately for us we’re lumbered with the £80m oaf, so Lindelof will be the one to be replaced first.
Christensen just doesn’t seem to defend with any authority or composure, hence the Lindelof comparison. When you’ve got physically imposing cb’s like Rudiger, Tomori and Zouma it’s not surprising he struggles for game time at Chelsea now.
