Just looking forward to wakening up on Friday morning to a clear majority government that will push through the deal and do everything to get the working agreement finalised within the next 11 months while we build new trade agreements around the rest of the world.

Demolishing once and for all this Trotskyist malevolent left wing and Marxist idealistic nonsense that would cripple the country in mere months.

Let's rebuild our country and get things moving out of this damaging stagnation.

if only this man was leading the Conservative charge I may be tempted to vote for them

In all seriousness I'm scunnered with every one of them day by day making themselves more ridiculous and unelectable as they lurch from one stupidity to the next.

It's a case of we'll get the best of the worse by a majority or an unholy mess of another dead parliament. What a farcical situation to be in.

I'd rather laugh than cry about it. My die is cast.

With either option of Labour and tory there could be irreversible damage done to the UK.

We're f@cked whatever way we go.

It will be the Tories but I don't think with a working majority, then the begging bowl will be brought out.

How much was the pay-off to the DU last time to get them onside?

Fooking shambles. SFA run a better shop
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If it's a hung parliament again then tighten your belts chaps, because that will set us up for a quite deep recession I think.

And we will be stuck in the EU until the last date arrives or we get kicked out.

If it is a hung parliament again I give up and wouldn't really care what happened after that. We would deserve everything we get as MP's once again do everything to hold up proceedings and frustrate the very essence out of everything; in their name of democracy. Hell mend them.

Ginger if its a hung parliament, we will be paying and charging our MPs to basically act like weans in a playground and not do anything apart from spend their whole working day scuppering their opposition, whilst the EU look on getting more and more fed up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Exactly.

And chances are they will get even more extreme.

Hung parliament is by far the worse option.

Voting SNP as want an independent country - really that simple. Like a lot of Labour ideas but some of their others are going back to the dark ages....how do you pay for all that list? Definitely through much higher taxation so not for me. Tories are selfish coonts who look after their own who don't need looking after Others are irrelevant.

Depends on whereabouts you live. A hung parliament would help save the NI economy.

I'm fairly comfortable with higher taxation for individuals and companies.

A lot of what labour propose are excellent ideas and streets away from a Tory manifesto.

It's all the other sheite that Corbyn, McDonell and their ilk are stating they will do that is ludicrous, unaffordable, illegal, undeliverable and quite frankly plainly stupid that concerns me more than enough to never give them a single second of thought for voting for them. They will bring the country to its knees in a matter of a few months.

Abbott as Home Secretary ffs. Just that thought alone.

I like Corbyn, and would certainly vote for labour if I lived elsewhere but voting SNP achieves a similar purpose while at the same time strengthening Scotland's position for independence in the event of another Tory government.

Or we'll be paying them to act like politicians and actually start negotiating, debating and engaging with each other rather than acting like little tribal idiots who shout weird noises at each other rather than trying to find common ground and a general consensus.

The problem with Westminster politics is the tribalism and inability to find consensus. And the problem with the British electorate is that we don't expect this of them, when really we should.

Because even as a Tory voter there's nothing I like about Johnson.

SNP all the way.
As soon as Independence is done, I'll probably vote Green.

Indeed.

A trait they've managed to avoid for years so why would they start now?

They'd just become even more unhinged and deepen their battle lines.

If no consensus can be found or sought in any way from anyone and the tribalism and fear mongering only gets cranked up while the country is at risk of falling to bits we have no hope of it ever happening.

Even now the indicators suggest that there is even less chance of independence vote winning than the last referendum.

Won't happen even if Scotland was given the vote tomorrow.

I think most of the polls indicate an almost 50/50 split.

Margin of error etc makes it almost impossible to predict.

And that will continue which is why we are where we are now.

Any side that tries to broach the divide will be seen as being weak by the opposition and pounced upon. Gone on for far too long now for some to start changing position. Just won't happen.
