sizzle. you are actually an idiot
look at the team we named ffs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The names were okay the set up wasn’t.
Kwp, Foyth, Sessegnon, GLC all barely featured this season and Dier cannot play back to back games. What on Earth was Jose thinking with that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i think he went far too strong tbh, and would not have even travelled with gazza son sissoko and toby.
literally a meaningless game.

I think it was right to have a few experienced pros out there as you can ruin young kids by sending them out to get slaughtered.
Dier was just awful management though.
I was okay with the spine of Gazzainga - Toby - Sissoko - Lucas ( although alongside parrot it should’ve been ).
Anyway it was meaningless and not a game we have to think about again

Obviously seems to see Dier as the solution (short term at least) to out DM position and probably trying to get his match fitness up. And restore his confidence after hooking him 25 minutes into the Olympiacos game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not going to get confidence up by being sent out for a match your aren’t able to compete in.
Also means he’ll be facked still for wolves.

Surely there are only positives to take from last night?
Players like GLC, Sess, Foyth, KWP got good minutes. These are players who have not featured under Jose much yet - so a great chance for him to see them, and then get their fitness up.
If Dier is to be the mainstay in the middle and fitness is the issues, then he got more minutes.
No injuries.
Rested key players.
Wolves play tonight in a crucial game - will play first team, and its only a small squad.
If we go to Wolves and win, and it’s due to us having a fresher squad due to a better European position than wolves (we’ve qualified already, they had not) and squad rotation - then surely last night can only be a positive.
I’m not Jose’s biggest fan, but win at Wolves and last night was a master stroke, and unfortunately, not something I feel Poch would have done - history tells us he’d have almost gone full strength v Bayern and weakened our chances v Wolves
“ Wolves play tonight in a crucial game - will play first team, and its only a small squad.”
Wolves are already through and are playing the bottom club so reckon they’ll rest a couple

Bah! You’re right
How did I know he'd post a sheet article like this.
Are we going to get an article like this every time we lose a game?

just 8 players then...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's six if I can count?
So they had 5 "reserves" in their side?
And Sandy is trying to make such a big thing about us putting out a "reserve" side!!

Well it is sizzle, so what do you expect?
An in depth analysis and a reasoned argument as to why it was wrong to field a weakened team............there is more chance of West Ham winning the PL, than that happening!
