Expected a Conservative win, however not by such a majority.

Corbyn definitely has to go after this, what else is there left for him?

They got brexit wildly wrong on the exit poll.

Guess you have SNP taking a lot of labour seats
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A lot of labour leave seats have flipped apparently
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think the SNP will have taken some Tory seats in Scotland too, if that Exit Poll of 55 is correct.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
BTW that would be 55 seats out of a total of 59 in Scotland!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Is that a good or bad thing? Thought the rise of nationalism was a little frowned upon?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Scotland voted Remain, so the SNP were always going to do well up here this time around (as Scottish Labour as an even bigger shambles than the UK version) ... that and BoJo’s utterly toxic anti-Scottish comments over the years! Tories had 13 seats up here last time, but that was down to Ruth Davidson, who couldn’t stomach staying on under BoJo’s version of Conservatism.

Indy is about a 50/50 split these days.

Swinson could be gone before Steptoe. 13 seats? Laughable.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Were you expecting something different...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wasn’t expecting either party to do quite THAT badly. Takes some doing by both to be that bad.

Not sure if it was a joke, but bashing the SNP as just "nationalist" is a pretty deliberate propagands ploy of the Tory party to tar them with a brush that is not even close to applicable to them.

Civic nationalism and right-wing nationalism are wildly different concepts. The SNP was the people of Scotland (any race, creed, colour, or national background) to make the political decisions that effect Scotland, as increasingly the decisions made in Westminster are the polar opposite of what we voted for. Giving them not much democratic legitmacy in our country. The SNP are largely a left-leaning social democratic party.

We are just very different and it's not going to work. It's not us it's you. I just think we should not be friends.
