could easily have genuinely caught something from someone at the wedding, its the right time of year

We have a scouser talking more sense about our players than some United fans.

Maybe the man is actually sick.

I felt fine up until Friday morning and got a fever that hit me like a tonne of bricks and have felt awful since. These things happen.

Would love it if he leaves in January.

Here's an exclusive interview before his return.... listen to the way he's talking and the fact he actually mentions about playing for United again and tell me he's faking injury and illness.

This agenda is actually pathetic.

What agenda?

He is a very talented player, but he doesn't want to play for us. He has openly spoken about leaving for a new challenge. If he wants to go then that is fine, but don't get upset because most United fans only want players that are committed to the club.

I've never once stated that he didn't want to leave, or got upset at people wanting him to leave because of what he said over the summer. Even I got pizzed off with him for speaking out over the summer, because he could have done it quietly. People are also well within their rights to talk about his performances.

What I'm talking about is the constant schit made up about him. It's a fact he publicly stated he wanted to leave, so fine slate him for it. It's also a fact that he's a top professional, so give him the benefit of the doubt when he's injured or ill.

He rushed him self back from injury to play against Rochdale ffs why would he then fake injury and illness not to play?

I hated watching Lukaku play but I never fed into the bulschit about him being fat. People would call him flabby straight after a game where he'd take his top off and walk down the tunnel with his abs on show.

When our fans start to dislike a player, irrationality sets in and it's fair game to make anything you like up.

Spot on, Kung Fu.

Two decent t posts, elvis and KFC. He wants to leave, but I don't think he's had any attitude problems, been quite professional, even if he's not played all that well since he rejoined.

It's worth noting the opposite is also true of what KFC says, that some fans will ignore things about their favourite players, even despite bad form or attitude. Works both ways.
