I and many have made the argument that Tuanzebe is part of our best team, ahead of Lindelof.

aslong as you dont mess up 20 simple passes that'd lead to a 1v1 like us.

Ole needs to start testing Tuenzeve and Maguire together in the PL.

Tuanzebe injured again. ..guy is becoming a sick note. He hasn't done enough to establish himself as first choice in my book

Think Tuanzebe needs to actually play and show us what he can do before people claim he is our first choice CB. No player should be considered a first team let if they’ve hardly played for us and haven’t actually proved their quality elsewhere.

I know people may class this as wise after the event (even though I said it in the summer) but Smalling should be brought back as soon as possible IMO if we don't have any other CBs in mind.

I think Ole is unlikely to do that even if he is arguably our best defender as he doesn’t possess the attributes he wants in a defender. Also, I can imagine Mike is happy at Roma where he’s getting regular game time and will hope to make a move.

Has proved his quality elsewhere, in good Villa team which got promoted. Every time he has started for us he’s looked solid as well. His attributes as a defender are far better than Lindelofs. The real mistake I’ve seen him make is the miss placed pass against Arsenal.

He was poor think it was against Alkmaar. He has good pace and strength which Lindelof doesn’t have however needs to improve on positioning and his passing at times is really wayward

You're probably right but I do think Mike would make us stronger. Wish Smalling well though whatever he does.

Okay, this is becoming a bug bear of mine.

Watford are a very very good side but if we sit deep and hit them on the counter we can get something today against all of the odds

Said it at the start of the season. Smalling is our best out and out defender. Big mistake loaning him out and keeping the likes of Rojo and Jones. We really were asking for too much for a Rojo
