Rudiger did massively overreact though
Would have been crazy if the appeal was successful.

Spurs actually appealed? Who thought that was a good idea?

This was the point Mourinho made - but he made no mention of the ridiculous behaviour of Son who was deservedly sent off. Mourinho is fine criticizing players from other teams for irrelevant behaviour, but not his players for outlandish and offensive behaviour. It’s too early in their relationship for this type of comment to affect the way Spurs fans view Mourinho. But I guarantee in a year or two of him constantly dragging their club through the mud they will start calling for him to go. But he wasn’t alone in making the decision to appeal Son’s red card - someone else is responsible for that too. Crazy.
Would Son have been sent off if Rudiger had not overreacted?
It was the correct decision of course and well done VAR and refs but I wonder if Rudiger had just stood there, would the end result have been the same?
If they did their jobs correctly then yes. It was just a stupid move from Son. Intent was there and that's enough.
Yes. Because his legs are bent when he spins and then he kicks up. It's violent behaviour and a straight red card a pathetic petulant red card.
Rudiger over reacts as well. Both pathetic school boy biatches
I've been kicked in the stomach by a football boot, and it 'kin hurts I can tell you !.
I found it funny tbh, I'm sure even Jose knew he was talking out his backside. Gotta defend his player.
Do any of you play football on grass? Anyone who has felt studs down there stomach will know the pain. Makes no odds how Rudiger reacts that is a straight red all day long.
