Eddie needs to play up top if they play together because of his pace.

I personally don't think Bamf is a natural striker – no-one who misses that many chances can be considered a natural. But he's tireless and can create chances so why not both? Besides, so many teams seem to have us sussed, that combination might just work for us.

Trouble with playing Eddie and Bamford together is MB either makes Eddie a winger (when he's a striker). Or he makes Bamford a #10 behind Eddie. Did it a couple of games back. Which is laughable. Because Bamford's light years away from being a #10.

I'd give Bamford's right arm to have Kemar back.

Roofe was a big mistake. Retain him, get promoted he’ll either want to stay then or we part ways with mission accomplished. High wage policy for some players will create unrest for other good players. Look back at Roofes goals and the amount of headers he gets to, his control and goals at crucial tones are sorely missed.

He was our best striker, Jonty. Damn shame. At least he's happy at Anderlecht and their fans love him.

He's light years away from being a 9 never mind 10.

Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! Give this lad a chance, he
deserves it imo...

Bamford not on bench. Injured I think. Went off with a dead leg the last game.

Happy for Eddie. And Roberts being fit. But, hellfire,
our bench wouldn't scare anyone. Only Tyler could
cause problems.

He’s playing because Bamford is injured. Don’t get too excited.

Hope he does well but if he scores a few Arsenal might want him back even more

Let's hope he does score. We really need this win.

We do but I bet Arsenal are watching with interest.

A win today, however we do it, will be welcome. We had three points more at this stage last season but the gap was less.

Mini wobble. Win today and we can go to West Brom on the front foot.

Eddie starts, Bamford on bench (or not).

Really concerned about this, Nketiah has shown time and time again that he cannot keep the ball, will keep coming back to us all afternoon and we really need Bamford back for WBA game.

Not optimistic about today.

Might help if the manager 'adapts' a little knowing he has Eddie up top and not Bamford. It would make sense for
MB to actually have a plan B formation that doesn't rely on Bamford in times like today when we don't have him.

Don't get Casey on the bench, if we lose a CB surely Bera would come on, Edmondson or Bogusz would give us more attacking options.

4 players on bench with 20 mins between them, another out of favour another coming back from injury.

Fingers crossed they’re not needed.
