Yes Vidal, I think team spirit will beat talent with no guts. NC's team had a good team spirit which passed on to SM's team until Ince and Bent joined and the talents took over.
I said to my son last night that we would do OK with 10 as we usually only have 10 men and one passenger.
I have to agree with Spart, that Bielek needs to improve or he will be the next waste of money signing. I ain't very impressed with his demeanor or his game. How much did he cost? Surely not £10 million?
The game is a lot easier when you don't give the ball away too.
Bit of fickleness regarding Bogle. I agree wisdom had a great game last night but he's had some shockers in that position.
Bogle on the other hand is the most talented player at the club except for Rooney. Unfortunately I think cocu has put the brakes on him a little.
Other reasons to be cheerful - Huddz and Shinnie (at some point) returning will be a bonus...........

Really? Look at our stats for midfield. Bielik has the most tackles and passes, least loss possession.
Room for improvement - yes, of course, but far from a waste of money and growing into the role.
I think there's obviously a player in bielik but either by injury or lack of discipline he's not contributing anywhere near enough at the moment
Anyway, for those off gallivanting - going to be cold and clear for the bells here.
Slàinte mhath to all Rams everywhere...........
Can you hear any bells where you are Heb? And thanks for the New Year's greetings. Have a good one - you and yours
Thanks for the report ramdini, happy New Year to all.

Happy new year and 63 points still to fight for so automatics are assured.
Congratulations in the first post of the new decade, Spart.
A Happy New Year to you and all on the Derby board.
Hope the 2020s will see a new successful and prosperous era for DCFC and us all.
I think we and the team deserve a very successful 2020. But we'll have to work for it. Hope the team and their supporters and the manager are up for such a task. Happy New Year to all who read these columns from Ramdini.
Was just thinking that not so many years ago I would be reading aloud one of Vidal's Christmas tales to adoring imaginary grandchildren.
Now I have to pretend I know what a 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 is; or inverted narrow wide wing-backs.

Great report Ramdini and a good read.
Looks like Carter-Vickers is on his way from Spurs. I'm a little underwhelmed by this as he didn't get to break into a struggling Stoke side, but it does say he's a good passer of the ball from defence. I was hoping for the Croat defender from Leicester - but I think that's simply due to his nationality and links to Igor.
Rumours that Man City are going to recall Patrick Roberts so that he can go to Middlesbrough. If there's any possibility of getting him with an option to sign perm we HAVE to take it!
Regardless of position it must be an attractive option for players to say ' I got to play alongside Rooney.'
