Would you of challenged for the league with that crop?
considering other clubs 'Teams of the decade' selection?

I was going to put Weaver in goal for my selection but he played his last game for us on 2/1/2010 - that's such a long time ago now!

I'd probably just be boring and pick the team that won the Scottish Cup Final. It just gelled together so well that team:

Pernis

Kovacevic Kenneth Webster Dillon

Swanson Buaben Gomis Conway

Daly Goodwillie

Obviously picking and choosing I wouldn't have Sean Dillion in place of the world's best left-back, and Daly would get punted in favour of Çiftçi or Russell but in terms of Armstrong, Mackay-Steven and Gauld, despite earning us a decent wedge of cash, I wouldn't want to disrupt the best-functioning midfield I've seen at Tannadice. That was Houston's job.
Would maybe do something with Kenneth too, although he was immense that season with Webster. If we're picking players based on the best they'd played for us, he's still a good pick.

We would have done something but when it came to the crunch the bottle would have gone. For example, when we played St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup Final we had a great team but we choked. We lost to them exactly the same way in the league a few weeks previously.

I wouldn't disagree too much with the team in the OP. I'd like to get Conway in though.

More interesting is our worst team of the decade.

--------------------Szromnik
Mihadjuks-----Donaldson---vd Meulen---Booth
Lyng---Sneijder---Kuhl----Riski
---Sinama Pongolle---Keatings

A few players lucky to miss out like Nicholls.

Pongolle played your lot!?
and he makes the Worst team? damn....
I can't wait for the day, another team takes down Celtic and Rangers.

He had a short lived stay with us and he was just dreadful. I think injuries had taken their toll, he was completely unfit and he looked like he'd won a raffle to play football. Although he wasn't the worst player in the team listed above....

Craig Curran escape the indignity due to the hilarity of his transfer away from Tannadice?

Darko Bodul in with a shout too surely for the striker position? That he played so many games was a travesty. A striker that can't score.

For being an utter waster, Robbie Muirhead could be there and Skácel for the same reason.

And my favourite of all, Keanu Marsh-Brown, who played 10 minutes where all he did was look like a lost little child that could run really fast, then got caught stealing from the changing rooms and was kicked out of the club. Stuff of legends that.

My worst team would be:

Kawashima

Mihadjuks Durnan Donaldson

Lyng Telfer Kuhl Kuate Nicholls

Da Valle Taggart

Subs: Szromnik, Van Der Styhk, Van Der Meulen, Snijder, Marsh Brown, Curran & Pongolle.

I thought Bodul was a good number 10. Always remember the Derby at Tannadice early in the season. We were winning and Bodul was tidy in keeping possession. Next thing Jackie subs him for Telfer and he faffs about, the Dee equalise.

Under Mixu Bodul played wide right against Killie was it? Never seen again apart from a few subby appearances. Some manager Mixu..........

I don't think Bodul was a bad player, he just wasn't suited to us in the slightest.

Some crackers I've forgotten though. Curran probably should replace Keatings. Marsh-Brown should really be in but do you drop Riski? He was woeful. Skacel was a disaster as well, and we should have realised that when he picked his squad number.
