I imagine what has happened with Eriksen recently will lead to some push back on his inclusion but he's an absolute no brainer pick

No chance. VDV was only here for 2 years and wasn't as good a player as Eriksen.

Eriksen was a class player for us. Even last year when he wasn't at his best he got decent numbers in terms of goals and assists.

Even now playing at 20% and desperate to leave he's one of our best players.

Not for me. VDV was always a more fans favourite and in short time, has got legendary status. VDV > Eriksen.

Ask any Spurs fan and most will say VDV is a legend. Klinsman was only here for a few years and is regarded as a Spurs legend, so why not VDV?

Some of our best most exciting football in the prem era was played under Harry and VDV was a big part of this. He was also a big part of our initial CL status when we qualified. I just prefer VDV as a player over Eriksen, my opinion.

What exactly did he do to become a legend? Sssh arsenal fans.

Eriksen record is unreal for us and played half the decade.

Head and shoulders a better player for us than VDV

It’s like putting king in defence because he’s a fan favourite and qualifies due to playing 30 odd games this decade

Not denying Eriksen hasn’t been a great player for us, but it’s a bit easy to show those stats when Eriksen has played over double the amount of games for us. I’m pretty sure if VDV played the same number of games, his stats would of been similar. I much preferred watching VDV in his day than Eriksen. Both great players, but VDV makes it in the 1st 11 for me, my opinion.

The longevity is a part of it though, it means he tangibly had a greater impact on spurs over this entire decade

Know you're a huge VDV fan though so wont push you on this

Look I’m not saying Eriksen hasn’t had an impressive career with us mate and I get why people would pick him. I just personally prefer VDV and I have fantastic memories watching VDV in his short stint at Spurs. Both great players.

tbh if it was purely on who I liked Bale wouldn’t make mine.

Hate how he went about leaving and tbf was never really attached to him like most.
