Stupidest comment of the year. Villa got sloppy and we took advantage. Playing direct football against a team with 10 men behind the ball generally gets you nowhere

Chillwell was awful tonight, poor on the goal, gave the ball away time and again.

Tilemans too, thoughy Praet was unlucky to be hooked. But Villa were very good at the back tonight, sometimes you just cannot break them down.

Still in a winnable tie at their place.

We don't move the ball quick enough, we don't stretch them enough and Chilwell is just a wasted player out on the left.

1-1 isn’t a great result and it’s worrying how much we struggled to break them down. N’didi was missed dreadfully tonight, he helps by turning over possession for us - without him the attack actually slows down.

I think villa will need to open up at their place - but it won’t be easy getting a result there

Not the first time Chilwell has been awful Gillhaus - one of the most overrated young players in the game.

Chilwell is so one footed it's a surprise he doesn't hop along on his left foot, so easy to defend against, he just turns round and passes backwards when any opposition is in front of him.

Kasper nearly cost us a second goal.

Only saw the last ten mins.. Just watching the highlights. How did we not score more goals?
