What is your prediction Rev? Where do you think we will finish? Who will be the top 2 do you think?

I’ve said already, it could be 2 from about 8 or 10 teams, including ourselves

Remember Blackpool a few years back, were something like just above the relegation zone at the turn of the year, and they ended going up - taking us out in the playoffs

I honestly don’t know who will take the top 2 places, before Christmas I would have said WBA & Leeds we’re looking nailed on bring about 10 or 12 points ahead...but even they recently have dropped points, and the gap has narrowed to about 5 or 6...that’s in a matter of 4 games

I think Brentford (who we’ve already beat this season) are looking pretty solid, Ollie Watkins is on fire, and could easily make top 2

Top 2 - just to hard to call

It has no substance? How many teams who are 5th half way through January have ended up in the top two? I guarantee that the majority of teams in 5th don’t get promoted. I think it’s pretty clear that we are more likely not to finish in too two than we are to finish in the top two.

So where do you think Forest will finish? You can’t tell me my opinion is wrong and then not give one. Of course there is a possibility 8-10 teams could get top two but that’s a pretty broad prediction. Not really saying much is it?

I think we’re too inconsistent to predict our finish....we could play the way we have in parts of the season and finish top....we could play the way we have in parts of the season and finish in the playoffs, or we could play we have in parts of the season and finish around 12th

It’s just too difficult to call - I’ll give you a better prediction around end of April mate

I never said it was wrong....just naive to say being currently in 5th is ‘proof we’re not good enough’

It’s not proof....it may be an indication, but definitely not proof - especially when we’ve shown already that we are good enough to beat most teams

Sorry Rev, I’m just gonna stop commenting on your comments really. Just gonna give my opinion and then get off. Enjoy this board but just find you frustrating for some reason. Not your fault. I enjoy your threads so cheers for that. Think we just fundamentally disagree about football really. 👍

I think most people would agree we are very consistent at being inconsistent

That doesn’t mean however, we can’t finish in a top 2 place
