Got away with that one a bit, based on the second half.
Stressful game! Can't expect to be bang on it every game but our shape looked a bit off, so sloppy too.
Decent gameplan from Spurs, smothered and countered well. Just didn't happen for them today.
imagine if we actually try to score a few. so frustrating hating us not bury games when we have 5 or 6 clear chances and then actually end up actually defending a little at the end.
mourinho will be very happy with is minimum damage loss.
Gini Wijnaldum MOTM, absolutely sensational today.
Despite Liverpool’s dominance in possession in the end that really should of been 1-1 and would of been if Kane had been on the end of that instead of Lo Celso who done his best soldado / Janssen impression.
Not happy with that 2nd half.
Doubt klopp will be either, Good experience for the players though, especially gomez, who despite being really good, is quite Raw in terms of games played, easy to forget the number of injuries hes had.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda!
We could’ve been 3 up in the first half.

maybe but I think you were lucky Kane was out. Moura was our main problem and it was him who wouldve been out for Kane.
I think the players did get bored lol

Didn’t think it was tiredness, we just got too comfortable. Very lucky Spurs wasted those chances.
win v an ex top 6 side. always good.
spurs were devoid of ideas really but most of all I was disappointed with Robertson leaving boot on alderweireld totally unnecessarily and also not getting wide enough to cut off the big switch ball.
we were silly we didn't play the ball into around winks and eriksen more should've cut them up.
anyway most important is 3 points and move on.
another week off now before playing another team defending deep and trying to hoof.
someone needs to tell gomez to just head it.
the only real chances spurs made were desperate silly errors from Henderson and windy letting ball over their heads or getting caught on it.
Firmino best player first half Wijnaldum second half.
Considering oppo fans were hanging all their hopes on us having a January collapse, I’ll take this 👍
Well you’ll win the league and rightly so but it will be in the season when premier league football truly died with VAR coming in and more fans / viewers having enough of the game.

Don’t be daft, it’s just the excuse oppo fans are desperate for, anything that means we don’t get full credit.
Nope go to the stadium and watching a screen saying checking , sure that’s football alright. Games dead.

I love it that spurs fans had to taste the bitterness of their 10man defence being shattered and then a second slug of the bitter brew when var hopes were shattered.
the reality is firmino had one blocked and then ox hit the post, really should've been all over after 3mins.
salah missed the target as well when well placed.
then vvd tamely headed right at gazzaniga when it was prob easier to score.
and of course.mane had a header saved and finally origi actually had a fabulous position of his own making but shot was not good enough.
so yeah spurs deserved a point.. sure... whatever helps them sleep tonight.
klopp had a two hour power nap. the rest of the league needs to fear us.

You would have to be blind to see that a Spurs reserve side totally overrun a very average Liverpool side in the second half, and but for some poor finishing, would have run out comfortable winners.

Spurs reserve . Missing Kane, Lloris and Ndombele. The first two are key but Ndombele has been poor. Liverpool missed first keeper Alisson for two months and it didnt affect us. Yesterday we've had more players out injured. Fabinho, Keita, Milner, Lovren and Matip. Shaqiri and Ox just back. All of them are important and good players. I would say Fabinho Keita and Matip/Lovren would have played this game if fit and may be Milner. Only Lloris and Kane would have played for Spurs if fit.
