This season I would consider the most unluckiest season we had since SAF left.
-----------
I cant remember many times being unlucky this season, rubbish yes unlucky no
We want Jose to do a number on the scousers. Very unlikely but come on Jose!
Good performance today. Norwich were predictably charitable defensively but we've slipped up plenty of times in games like this previously. Great finish by Greenwood again

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlucky how Posh?
When Jose got sacked last season first 17 PL games Man Utd had 216 shots and faced 237 shots.
Solskjaer this season first 17 PL games Man Utd had 248 shots and allowed 175 shots. We scored 3 less this season from first 17 games and conceded 9 less.
People look at results but look at the draws, we could easily won all of the games we drew this season. 7 games we drew we should really have won. Also some games we lost we should have won.
Couldn’t watch the game due to work, but I hope we played better than we managed to muster up against City and Arsenal?
Prem yeah was a walk in the park really.

just because poch had a poor start to the year doesn't make him a bad manager, he took spurs as far as he could, just like mourinho who basically got everything out our squad the season we finished 2nd then it went down hill after that, poch fecking took that lot to a cl final, that's squeezing everything possible out of a squad that pretty much had no incoming players for a few years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What if I told you that from 2014 when Poch took over until he was sacked he signed the exact same amount of players that Man Utd did in the same period?

2nd are you seriously suggesting spurs spending power is comparable to ours in those 6years?
Have a look at teams who spend as much as us in the past 6 years and compare what they have won compared to us then come back

Not sure I understand what your point is here.
Is Ole responsible for our horrible spending and lack of proportional success in the previous 6 years? Odd position to take.

Narrative.
My tuppence worth is even the previous three managers who have a decent CV didn't take us back to the top despite spending a fortune, Poch might be no diffirent? and Ole might, dependant on who he manages to bring in could.....or not?
No one can be certain of anything, it's an inexact science football, for me, and only me I would like to see how Ole does with a few signings and development of the squad, it seems the direction we're taking is younger players with potential, still need experience and proven players but I like that approach
Time will tell whatever happens?

Ole isn’t out of his depth. He’s got this squad approximately where this squad belongs in the division.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually, the squad is above where it should be in this particular division in this, very weird, season - but that has as more to do with some pretty poor approaches by other squads than anything good/bad about OGS.
It's a 'cup squad', not one built for a serious league campaign

I knew you were a Celtic supporter but always thought you followed Liverpool in England. Massive apologies!!!
Merry no worries mate, had an aulder cousin who worked in Manchester in the late 70s and he took me to Utd games, it felt like Celtic Park and I've been back loads of times since, started taking my youngest boy when he was young and now he goes down on his own

He’s very very lucky Spurs and Arsenal have had poor seasons too.

Lucky? What you mean is that he’s demonstrated he can manage a team more effectively over an extended period this season than Pochettino and Emery.

Wow. One home win against the bottom side and Ole is a genius.

Why would anyone make an Ole out article after a win over Norwich? Its only logical that it will be made when the team is at a low points, not at the highest point.

To be fair LVG lost at home to Norwich City who finished 19th even if expected goals had us win in a game they had virtually 2 attacks and 2 goals.
