deserves to start.... thought all 3 CBs played well

Sanchez is an athletic, fast defender. We need composed CB with some decent IQ. Tanganga was decent but showed his youth at times.

Thought he was superb overall for you today. Got done for the goal but young players will never be perfect. Certainly looks a prospect.

I thought he did well, would have had a clean sheet if the linesman had eyes

Starts again on Tuesday but we definitely have to get him go sign the contract.

I bet the likes of Dortmund would’ve seen today and seen he’s available on a free and will be thinking about getting him

Had stagnated and got lucky Eyoma got injured and took his place in pre season.

Probably would’ve been loaned out and let go this summer if that didn’t happen

No he didn’t go the year before it was Eyoma iirc

Looked good to be fair. Although he won’t be playing
as part of a back 7/8 every week so he’ll probably be more exposed in matches you need to win.

I thought he played well. Quick and strong. No easy task handelling Mane which he did. Got done for the goal, by Bobby's skill and intelligence, but overall he looks promising.

Not getting carried away. Sanchez is a good defender and athletic but when he isnt asked to just defend he is pants. Rubbish on the ball and bullied by big forwards

Yeah good end to end stuff especially at the end. We only really got in the game when lo celso and lamela came on both should have started. Yeah it was him, absolute sitter but criminal he hasnt had more minutes under his belt

You had a few chances that you hit straight at Alisson too. But we did the same a couple of times to be fair. Probably a fair scoreline overall.

He looked really good, thought he did a good job on Mane

was very impressed with tanganga. he kept you in it in the 1st half, you'd likely have been down 2 or 3 goals by half time without him.

but the op is wrong, he doesn't have a future with you, unless levy learns to open the chequebook a lot more. he's going to spend the next season and a half looking around at what he's forced to play alongside and start demanding a transfer to a team that looks like they actually want to win trophies.

Don't know anything about the kid's allegiances and ambitions, but on today's performance I kept getting flashbacks of the great Ledley King.

I think Levy ain't so stupid as to letr this one slip away.
