At current points per game ratio.
If Liverpool stopped playing now and Man Utd carried on til the end of the season.
United would still finish 3 points behind them!

Not sure how they even come to the conclusion, the fact theres been a lot of promoted teams give us a good game almost taking points off us and them regularly taking points off the top 6 surely shows the league is strong?
Probably the strongest its ever been in terms of overall strength, makes City and Liverpools point returns over the past few seasons even more impressive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rubbish
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm pretty sure the points total for teams in 2nd and 3rd place, 44, 45, would be pretty similar to most previous seasons. 🤔
there's 3 teams that have a chance to finish the league with 90+ points, there's another 3 teams with the chance to finish with 80+ points.
considering 85 points or less has been enough to win the league since it became the premiership (over 1/3 of the seasons played) . there is no way that it can be considered a weak or uncompetitive league this year.

Basically yeah. 😎👍
Carry on like this and we will have it won by mid March
Basically every excuse gets thrown you by the usual suspects.
When leicester won it they were laught at til january and then sneered at til may cos either thry had no chsncevor suddenly nobody was any good.
This year is not an outrageous year except by us. If you actually look at "normal" years 2nd place being on mid 40s is actually pretty decent.
When city got 100 points were everyone else useless? No Utd were a distant second and thinking they were great etc.
When city got 98 and we got 97 were spurs etc useless? Apparently not.
The fact is city were amazing for 2 seasons. We were slightly less amazing last year, very slightly. We have been amazing again.
City could still get mid 80s to 90s in points and frankly if you look back at so called great seasons the 2nd placed team not nowhere close to it.
The prem has everyone through to knockouts in europe, how bad can they all be?
I'd rather look at points totals for 2nd over last 10/15 years

When city got 98 and we got 97 were spurs etc useless? Apparently not.
The fact is city were amazing for 2 seasons. We were slightly less amazing last year, very slightly. We have been amazing again.
City could still get mid 80s to 90s in points and frankly if you look back at so called great seasons the 2nd placed team not nowhere close to it.
The prem has everyone through to knockouts in europe, how bad can they all be?
I'd rather look at points totals for 2nd over last 10/15 years

Just in time for cl run and fa cup 5th round.
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to play the reserves in league and really try for a historic year
