Liverpool, yes they will win the league, but they are not a patch on Man City, their football is like the old Arsenal teams, very functional, keep the ball at the back for three or four minutes at a time, then lump it forward, they grind out the one goal wins, they are not a great side. They will eventually get found out. When Spurs ran out them second half, their defence was all over the place. It is what teams have to do.

Great, well not like peps Barca who’d beat them by not allowing them to play their game, but they are a good side. It's becoming a bit of a joke how much Liverpool have played below their best this season and won because the opposition let them off the hook.

Works both ways though we’d changed we could have scored in the first half, and we had long periods in the second half where we controlled the game and kept the ball.
Spurs did well second half, we dropped off a bit, a draw may have been a fair result but we managed the game well albeit gave up some chances to you in the second half.
Also you know full well we are a good footballing team.

Spurs had half their team missing, and ran Liverpool ragged second half. 3-1 win for Spurs would not have flattered Spurs. Both had chances in the first half, but Spurs had three gilt edged chances to Liverpool`s zero in the second half.

Ref was very poor mate, he let Liverpool get away with some atrocious tackles, especially on Moura, Liverpool were hacking him down like no tomorrow. Definite Red as well this afternoon completely overlooked by the Ref.
They’ve won 61 points out of a possible 63 and you’re saying they’re not very good? Come on man.
Spurs had some decent chances in the first 10 minutes too.

Tanganga is one for the future
They also got 97 points last season which would have been enough to win the league in like 95% of Premier League seasons gone by. They’ve carried that sensational form into this season.
Liverpool are a phenomenal football team. We may not see this level of consistency from a football team again.

I was not impressed with them at all today. I couldn`t watch that sort of stuff week in week out.
Dreadful tactics and team selection as usual from Jose. Only looked decent when he finally got GLC and Lamela on.

If you were to say did it look today as though Atkinson was aware that he'd recently received a lot of criticism for seeming to be anti-Liverpool then I would say yes. Were Liverpool the better side - unquestionably, but I thought Spurs defence was pretty good.
