Get a new L/B,and don't forget Dave can play L/B or R/B or C/B so is great cover and experience for these positions, so great for next season.
Just need another C/f ,maybe Werner ?,I wish !
No surprise for me, that they've struck at great understanding at first-team level (and this is just the beginning).
They've played and come through together since the age of 9!
I've always had the belief that the academy graduates are the ones that will ultimately take to Frank''s methodology like duck to water, best equipped to play (heavily influenced by Jody) through the course of the season.
Tammy's influence will become alot stronger (than it already is), once the whole crew that he''s grown with, played with, connected with, complemented for years start on a consistent basis.
Isn’t Lamptey a RB? We need another wide player.

apart from last year when you had the belief Sarri would be the earl to throne and get us back at the top of the tree
Yup both times they've played together on the right the better they've both looked for it. Clear chemistry and understanding between the players. Think we've just found our new right side.
Willian just as good on the left and can rotate between left and right wing as needed.

yes but so is RJ, Lamptey is a lot quicker that RJ but not as physicalso the bring something differnt to the position, both very good crossers though.
wow dammmn this smart phone
Lamptey' crossing is not on the level as Reece. Reece is on a different planet of productivity when it comes to that.
Only Hudson-Odoi gets close to the high-quality standard of crosses Reece produces.
Best crossers at the club.
Definitely keep CHO on RW now. I suspect it might be his best position anyway but his link up with James has been very impressive so far.
Two goals from CHO on the RW too (admittedly one against championship opposition).
Definitely my preferred position for him. At LW, he gets into good positions to cut in and shoot when playing as a LW but he loses his ability to send in quality, early crosses. And in any case, it's not like his cut in and shoot move has been bearing much fruit on the left this season anyways...
Just before (and a couple of apps after) Callum broken into the first-team there were plenty wrongly and without foundation claiming that he couldn't play on the right!
Successful formative academy years was spent playing on either side with quality fullbacks/wingbacks like Reece, Sterling, Castillo, Lamptey.
That's the beauty about a confident Callum, equally as effective and productive on either side remarkable kid who is revered by team-mates, and coaches for his talent & application (Frank, Jody, Southgate, Holland etc).
Fast-tracked to Chelsea first-team (without a loan) and England squad (having barely played) for those reasons.
Abundant amount of depth to his play and tremendous multifaceted ability hasn't even scratched the surface yet.
Post-serious injury....finally got to a state where his mind-body are at one with each other now again. Return of left-footed goal last week was so important for that release (monkey off his back).
Although did score in Carabao but didn't have the same desired effect, due to not being at his optimal fitness & mental state.
Yesterdays performance was on-par with his display against Newcastle.
Maintained that the only part of his game that required honing was off the ball movements (behind defences), anticipated that said movements would exponentially improve under Frank.
Couldn't be happier with the way current management has nurtured him (and many other players).
In the wrong hands...Sarri, Conte, Mourinho (managers of that ilk) could have turned out badly.
Would have lost one of our greatest (generational) talents and Reece would never get a look-in probably loaned again (Hysaj bought), If the first one was still charge.
"Callum Hudson-Odoi (18y 346d) is the second youngest player in Premier League history to assist in three consecutive appearances, behind only Michael Owen"
Shouldn't be overlooked, coming back from injury (assists from the left).
"Callum Hudson-Odoi has been directly involved in 12 goals in his 14 starts at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring six and assisting six."
Neither should that.
Bayern will finally get to see Callum rock up on their turf in March
With any luck, Loftus will be fit for that...
